Lacandona Jungle 1 Day (wandelen)
Beschrijving
Tijdens de tour zul je genieten van de indrukwekkende jungle onder begeleiding van een inheemse Lacandon-gids uit de gemeenschap, waar hij je zal laten zien en uitleggen over de ongelooflijke flora, fauna, watervallen die de jungle voor je heeft en we zullen aankomen bij de verloren stad in de jungle .

Great tour operator. They are very customer oriented and they try their best to accomodate to your needs. Unfortunately we had to cancel the trip but the communication before and after was really good - I would definitely recommend them.
I had somewhat of an expectation for this trip, but I am sad to say I do not recommend it. Tour driver and guide were good, but they never tell you it is just a 14.8km walk of mosquitoes for 4 hrs. If you decide to go, take a lot of mosquito repellant.
We did a better trek on our own in the jungle next to the palenque ruins. It was very boring/easy. We were hoping for something challenging and spectacular (we saw no animals/waterfall was pretty basic). Our tour guide did not speak a word of English neither did the driver or no one else around, so we did not understand anything/ could not ask questions! We also only went to one waterfall which was rubbish when Fernando sold it too us he said two or more and we were told that there is a better waterfall in the area by locals. He said the trek was 6hrs, it was 4. In addition, the lunch was very basic, just over cooked plain spaghetti. A shame to wake up so early and drive for so long for such disappointment. We decided to pay DOUBLE the price to other tour company’s as Fernando promised us good quality (reminding us he is in the lonely planet book) but this quality never came to show. When explaining to Fernando we were disappointed, he comes back with rude responses and no apology.
