Start vanaf: BEZIENSWAARDIGHEDEN KYOTO Ga vanuit het rustige steegje aan de OOST kant naar binnen. De westkant, bij de drukke straat, klopt niet. Het lijkt op een oud huis, met een rode lantaarn en blauw logo buiten. We wandelen door het Geisha cultuurgebied van Gion en Miyagawacho.

Kenji was an awesome guide! I had a great time exploring the area and learned a lot about the history and culture of Geisha’s. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to have a relaxing time and learn from a truly knowledgeable guide.

Excellent tour of two of the flower districts. Kenji was very knowledgeable about Geisha and the history behind the area. We even got lucky and spotted an apprentice geisha (Maiko). The tour ended at a bar where we were able to sample world class whiskeys. Service was outstanding. We enjoyed ourselves so much we booked a food tour in Osaka with Kenji. I’d highly recommend taking this tour!

Kenji's tour was the highlight of my trip!! He had a ton of knowledge on the area and geisha culture. We learned a lot of interesting information and walked through the most beautiful areas that looked like we stepped back in time. We were even lucky enough to see a geisha during our tour! I recommend booking this tour towards the beginning of your trip because Kenji pointed out a ton of restaurants/bars that we would've loved to check out if we had the time. If you're visiting Kyoto, you NEED to book this tour!
