Tijdens de IKEBANA workshop maak je je eigen meesterwerk, begeleid door onze instructeurs. Uw kunstwerk wordt tentoongesteld in een tokonoma (nis) in een traditionele Japanse kamer en u kunt een foto maken. We bieden ook een service om uw kunstwerk bij uw hotel af te leveren, zodat u tijdens uw verblijf kunt genieten van uw eigen IKEBANA-ervaring. Nadat u afrekent, zullen wij het oppikken Onze stijl is gebaseerd op klassieke IKEBANA-vormen en richt zich op het naar voren brengen van de schoonheid van de bloemen en takken met respect voor hun natuurlijke staat. Om dit te bereiken, ervaar je de Japanse esthetiek van "wabi-sabi" in een sessie met onze instructeur, waardoor je je oerzintuigen ontwaakt.

Amazing one on one teaching of Ikebana. The shop had a lovely atmosphere and the florist and his wife were excellent teachers. They even deliver the Ikebana to your accommodation to enjoy while you are in Kyoto! Couldn’t recommend more for those interested in learning Ikebana or floristry.
Very informative without being super long; interesting setting and good service. A little out of the way from the main city sights but not not particularly far and quiet neighborhood.
Thank you very much for your kind feedback. Nearby, there is the Zen temple Daitoku-ji, as well as Imamiya Shrine. It is also about a 10-minute bus ride from Kinkaku-ji, in a quiet and peaceful area. My fiancé and I went to this class on our trip to Kyoto, and this was the most amazing part of our trip so far. The hosts are kind, patient, knowledgeable and encouraging. I would spend all evening with the hosts! We came during Sakura season so we were able to use the Sakura blossoms which was so pretty! It was also so nice that it was private for just us two so we still were able to get quality time together. The hosts also took some photos along the way so we got some cute candid photos of us laughing at each other during the process. This was worth every penny and more!

One of my favorite things I did in Kyoto. Both hosts were knowledgable and answered all the questions I had. It was a really good time ! They even sent our arrangements to us to our hotels . Really the nicest people ever.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed this peaceful ikebana lesson. What a breath of fresh air in contrast to the busy Kyoto scene! Taro-san and Chiaki-san were incredibly welcoming and knowledgable and encouraged us that there was no right or wrong answer. Our ikebana was also delivered to our accomodation afterwards. OOKINI 🌸🙏🏼
