I didn’t know much about Arashiyama before, but joining this tour taught me so much. Our guide, Eduardo, was incredibly kind and shared not only the history of the area but also lots of fun facts along the way. The staff at the temple were also very welcoming and took the time to explain many things to me. The tour ends at a place where you can join a chopstick-making workshop, so I’d definitely recommend trying it after the tour! It was a truly worthwhile experience, and I highly recommend it!
Riko was our tour guide and she was absolutely lovely. She was super enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about the Tenryuji Temple! Walked through the bamboo forest as well and it was super nice. Uta was also super nice and energetic! One of our family members lost their phone on the bus right before our tour and Uta was very kind in helping us contact the bus company and finding our lost phone! We were in good hands.

Me and my friend were the only 2 on the tour which actually made it so much better, our guides Uta, Eduardo and Kayy were so lovely and they answered any questions we had, the stories they told and the locations they made us visit were absolutely breathtaking, i would recommend to anyone who is visiting Kyoto, thankyoy guys for the amazing experience.

Masa guided us on the bamboo tour, where the bamboo forest itself was actually just a small part of the experience. He took us through the most beautiful spots in the Arashiyama neighborhood, including temples, scenic streets, and unique viewpoints overlooking the canyon and the river. As a local, Masa’s passion and deep love for the area truly shine through, and it's clear he genuinely enjoys guiding. We had a wonderful, interesting, and pleasant two hours with him. We highly recommend him!
