Bezoek de wereldberoemde weg naar Hana met lokale gidsen uit Maui die een uniek perspectief bieden op de lokale en inheemse cultuur. Gerangschikt als een van de vijf mooiste ritten ter wereld, verken de verborgen schat van het prachtige regenwoud van Maui, van de unieke regenboogbomen tot de inheemse Hawaiiaanse flora en fauna, leer wat de inheemse Hawaiianen op Hawaï hebben geïntroduceerd en de vele toepassingen ervan in het oude Hawaï en observeer de gewaagde kustlijn van Oost-Maui. 20 minuten rijden van de haven van Kahului. Observeer rustende zeeschildpadden en de prachtige noordkustkust van Maui.
Stop en strek je benen terwijl je de unieke eucalyptusbomen met regenboogschors observeert na je eerste rit van 30 minuten door het regenwoud van Hana.
Het staatspark Kaumahina biedt rustplaatsen en een schilderachtig uitzicht op de oostkust van Maui.

Neem een verfrissende duik in een natuurlijke watervalbron (als het weer het toelaat) in het park en toiletgedeelte langs de weg van Puaa Kaa State.
Bezoek de wereldberoemde Pailoa-baai bij Honokolani (zwart zandstrand) en ga voor een zoute duik (als het weer het toelaat) Geniet van een gratis lunch en bereid je voor op je terugreis naar de haven van Kahului. *Houd er rekening mee dat de totale reistijd zonder tussenstops ongeveer 2 uur bedraagt.
Geniet van een panoramisch uitzicht op de Wailua-vallei en het kustplaatsje. Snel uitrekken en foto maken.

Om de tour te beëindigen, maakt u nog een laatste stop bij Hookipa Beach Park, waar u 's middags de kans heeft om meer rustende zeeschildpadden en grotere golven te observeren. (Als het weer het toelaat)

Wij passen onze ophaaltijd in de haven van Kahului aan volgens uw aankomsttijd. Sla direct linksaf zodra u de cruiseschipterminal verlaat en wacht bij de buitentoiletten. Tourcoördinator/tour Gids zal een bordje met de bedrijfsnaam HANA AND BEYOND vasthouden. (Dit is ook de Taxi pick-up gebied)

We had a nice time on our day tour of the road to Hans. Our guide Georg was very knowledgeable.
Tour agency provided clear communication about pick up procedures and what to expect on tour. Guide flexed their schedule to accommodate late arrival of ship. Junior was a good guide who shares stories of the area and told us when to expect great picture spots. We drove the road to Hana in previous trip. The driver missed out on much of the scenery. This tour remedied that dilemma. Highly recommend this tour.
We recently did the Road to Hana tour and overall, the tour itself was good. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, and being in the van for about five hours is really the only way to safely take in everything along the way. It truly is a stunning drive and worth experiencing. That said, our guide, Georg, was not local and spent much of the drive repeating lengthy stories about Maui’s history, including what he described as “non-published” history. While some background information is appreciated, it felt excessive and repetitive at times. The Road to Hana is incredible and I’m glad we went, but personally, I wouldn’t choose Georg as a tour guide again.
We survived the 30 miles of winding roads with Over 600 curves n turns to Hāna . We stopped by several tourist spots , beautiful beaches, waterfall and rugged cliffs . We were very happy with Charlie , our tour guide . He is a very safe driver and a wonderful story telling tour guide . We totally enjoyed listening to all his tales . Thanks Charlie .
Emma was very knowledgeable and peppered the facts about the area with local information. She was friendly and answered our questions openly. She warned us ahead of time about photo opportunities so that we could get ready. This shows her knowledge and appreciation that we don’t want to miss things.
We took a fantastic tour with “Local Boy”! He is a very friendly and professional guide, and I was impressed with his knowledge of the island and Hawaiian culture. You can tell his native roots run deep! He is an excellent driver and navigated the Road to Hana with ease. Views were amazing! The black sand beach is not to be missed. Lunch was a large, hoagie-type sandwich with plenty of meat – both my husband and I were only able to eat about half of it. Pre-tour communication was great, the van was clean and comfortable, and we made it back to the port on time. All-in-all, a wonderful day with Hana and Beyond.
Very personal… native guide. Small group and he learned everyone’s name at the start of the trip. Highly recommended!

This was my favorite excursion during our Maui port stop. Kim was so informative and provided the group with facts throughout the entire drive. She kept us engaged and you could tell she prioritized our safety. I loved the smaller group size which I believed made the experience that much greater. This was a birthday I will remember forever!
