Geniet van een begeleide wandeling door de historische wijk Kaleici van Kusadasi, ooit omringd door stadsmuren en gevormd door zijn rol als belangrijke Egeïsche haven. Onderweg bezoekt u belangrijke bezienswaardigheden, waaronder de Kaleici-moskee, overblijfselen van de oude vestingwerken en traditionele straten vol met het lokale leven. Stop tijdens het verkennen bij zorgvuldig geselecteerde lokale locaties om het beste van de Turkse keuken te proeven: Handgemaakte manti met knoflookyoghurt en botersaus Een proeverij van regionale Turkse kazen Vers gesneden doner kebab, een klassieker van Turks streetfood Egeïsche Zeevruchten & Meze Proeverij, inclusief een verscheidenheid aan koude mezes en knapperige Kalamar Tava (calamar) De ervaring eindigt met een zoete noot met baklava en rijke Turkse koffie, een traditie die geworteld is in Ottomaanse gastvrijheid. Alle proeverijen en frisdranken zijn inbegrepen. Alcoholische dranken zijn optioneel en beschikbaar tegen een toeslag.
Tijdens de wandeling zullen de gasten ook een bijna 600 jaar oude historische Turkse hamam zien, die inzicht biedt in de Ottomaanse badcultuur en de rol ervan in het dagelijkse sociale leven van vroeger tot nu. Polat and his companion were amazing hosts! Around a 4 hour tour that covered many drinks, meals, snacks, and desserts (without giving anything away). Highly recommend if you want something different from the standard cruise excursion!

The tour lasted about 4 hours, all great local establishments with great food. In all honesty, it was tough to get through the whole tour in terms of having enough stomach room to eat it all. Had to leave some leftovers in order to save room for the rest of the stops. Overall amazing tour.

We had an enjoyable day learning the history and tasting local foods. Started the morning with traditional breakfast, had a Turkish coffee and tea, Doner and wonderful seaside mezzas. The sweets were fabulous too. Friendly people and great guides. Highly recommend!
