Tijdens een ongeveer 3 uur durende tour beleef en ervaar je enkele van de oude ambachten borduurwerk, klei, tegels en bezoek je een koffieboerderij met koffie, thee en fruitproeverij.

Deze tour is volledig gewijd aan onze traditionele kunsten en ambachten, waar je fantastische ervaringen kunt opdoen en het zelf kunt doen, dienend als een unieke herinnering en waar je de productieprocessen van werken in klei, borduurwerk en keramiek kunt observeren vanaf het begin van het proces naar de laatste fase. De tour begint met een bezoek aan het aardewerk van São Bento, waar u prachtige lokaal geproduceerde stukken kunt zien, naast de typische "pot" die wordt gebruikt om de traditionele rundvleesstoofpot "Alcatra" te koken. Daarna zullen we een meer gedetailleerd werk verkennen, een bezoek aan het borduurwerk van de Azoren, voor veel banen, maar ook een slaapzaal met entertainment van hoge artistieke waarde. Om af te sluiten bezoeken we een kleine keramische unit waar je de mogelijkheid hebt om je eigen tegel te schilderen die je mee kunt nemen en dat zal een unieke herinnering zijn.

This company was able to do a last minute arts & craft tour when other tours got cancelled. Paulo was a wonderful host/driver taking us to all best cultural spots on the island including the traditional ceramic shop, tile making & coffee plantation. The highlight of the trip was definitely visiting Jose and his wife. Jose spent a lot of time explaining coffee making process & then showing us all around his farm. The most delicious ending with homemade coffee & liquor. It was truly a memorable day that both my daughter & I considered the highlight of the trip!

This was a fun tour. It was great to see the crafting history of Terceira. So many of these trades today are replaced by machines! Our guide was the best. Not only did we get an arts and crafts tour, but he told us about the island, showed us where to have dinner. We made ceramic tiles that were not going to be ready until after we left, he said he would mail them to us. The day we left, he was back at our hotel, delivering our tiles! He went above and beyond that extra measure!!!!!!!
