Ontdek Florence samen met een lokale gids en ontdek de geschiedenis, kunst en onbekende verhalen! Maak een rustige wandeling door het oude centrum van de stad, waar u prachtige historische gebouwen, paleizen, musea, kerken en tuinen kunt zien. We begeleiden u om het Baptisterium, de Duomo-kathedraal, het huis van Dante, het Bargello-paleis en het Piazza della Signoria te bewonderen. U zult ook genieten van het uitzicht op Palazzo Vecchio, een opmerkelijk voorbeeld van burgerlijke architectuur. Hier ontdekt u een openluchtmuseum met verschillende meesterwerken, waaronder de kopie van Michelangelo's David, vlak voor Palazzo Vecchio. Vervolgens passeren we de vleugels van de Uffizi-galerij. Volg de rivier de Arno en loop naar Ponte Vecchio en zijn goudjuwelierswinkels en we zullen een deel van de andere kant van de rivier zien. 15 minuten van tevoren voor de check-in.

De laatste residentie van de Medici-familie. Het majestueuze Palazzo Pitti werd gebouwd door de koopman Luca Pitti als een effectieve demonstratie van zijn rijkdom en macht aan zijn rivalen de Medici. In 1549, toen het paleis werd gekocht door Eleanor van Toledo, de vrouw van Cosimo I, werd de pracht ervan vergroot en werden de prachtige Boboli-tuinen erachter aangelegd. Het werd de officiële zetel van de Medici-dynastie van groothertogen nadat Cosimo I hierheen was verhuisd vanuit Palazzo Vecchio. Our guide, Julia, was very engaging, fun, knowledgeable and clearly wanted the best experience for us! Making the experience more personal by walking us through side streets ( not on tour ) giving history of the location as she led us to our planned reservation for dinner. A special experience - we were so fortunate to have Julia as our guide! You will local flavor of this beautiful city with exceptional tour guide. Highly highly recommend this special tour experience!
My 18 YO daughter and I attended this walking tour around Florence. Our guide, William, was knowledgeable, friendly and full of anecdotes. He took care to not lose anyone (there were eight of us on the tour) and his pacing worked well. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it!
This was a perfect way to start our second day in Florence. Our guide was amazing, gave us so much information and a lot of the secret gems of Florence. She was funny and helpful and truly kind! This was one of our highlights!

We recently did the Florence Walking Tour with Julia as our guide and had an amazing time. She was very knowledgeable about the city and had myriad interesting facts about the city and its landmarks as well as famous hostorical characters who have influenced Florence and its development. I learned so many cool facts and she had some great recommendations for food and locations beyond just the tour. I would definitely recommend this tour and Julia if you're visiting the city.

This tour was a great way to start our time in Florence. Our tour guide, Raffaello, was raised in Florence and was an expert on Renaissance art and history. He was a wonderful teacher and we really enjoyed both his facts and his personal stories of growing up in Florence. Thank you to the tour company for finding this tour guide and accommodating our schedule and wishes after the original tour guide cancelled for a last minute emergency. We really enjoyed this tour and Raffaello!
This tour was exactly what we needed. A chance to get our bearings in Florence and hear some of the fascinating stories behind the art. Maria is a wonderful guide, incredibly knowledgeable and brings art to life. The pace was perfect. When asked, she also shared local tips on food, shopping and what not to miss while in Florence.
