Dit gecombineerde ticket geeft je toegang tot twee van de meest iconische sightseeingtours van Hobart - kunanyi / Mt Wellington Explorer Bus en Red Decker City Loop Tour! Beginnend met de kunanyi / Mt Wellington Explorer Bus reis je 1270 meter boven zeeniveau en ervaar je een spectaculair uitzicht over Hobart en verder. De terugreis van 2 uur omvat 30 minuten om de top van kunanyi / Mount Wellington te verkennen. Als je op zoek bent naar een beetje meer avontuur, heb je ook de optie om in en uit te stappen bij meerdere bushaltes waar je een breed scala aan bushwalking-tracks vindt om te verkennen. Keer terug naar de stad en neem deel aan de officiële rondleiding door Hobart. Stap in en ervaar een prachtig 360 graden uitzicht op Hobart vanaf het bovendek van onze dubbeldekkers met open dak. Blijf aan boord om de volledige tour van 90 minuten te voltooien of stap in en uit bij een van de 20 handige haltes in de stad. Inclusief een kunanyi / Mt Wellington Explorer Pass (de hele dag geldig) en een 48-uurs Hop-On Hop-Off City Loop-ticket.

kunanyi / Mt Wellington Tour: optionele hop-off bij de bushalte Fern Tree Park. • Een beschut grasveld met toiletten, picknickplaatsen, houtgestookte barbecues en speeltoestellen voor kinderen. Het startpunt voor schaduwrijke wandelingen door varensgeulen en langs borrelende beekjes. • Neem de pijpleidingroute naar Silver Falls (40 minuten retour), die de route volgt van de waterleiding die wat van Hobart's water levert. Een korte, gemakkelijke wandeling, ook geschikt voor mountainbikes. • Bezoek Fern Tree Tavern voor lunch, koffie en cake of een verfrissend koud drankje. Open van dinsdag tot zondag.
kunanyi / Mt Wellington Tour: optionele hop-off bij bushalte The Springs. • Een vlakke picknickplaats met toiletten, picknicktafels, gasgestookte barbecues en het startpunt voor een scala aan wandelpaden en mountainbikeroutes aan de oostelijke uitlopers van kunanyi / Mt Wellington. • Neem de Lenah Valley Track naar Sphinx Rock (45 minuten terug), geweldig uitzicht op de orgelpijpen hierboven en Hobart en de rivier Derwent hieronder. Een korte, gemakkelijke wandeling door eucalyptusbos naar het indrukwekkende zandstenen rotsplatform van Sphinx Rock (let op: 10 meter hoge klif). • Bezoek Lost Freight Cafe voor warme dranken, lichte maaltijden en snacks. Open 7 dagen.
kunanyi / Mt Wellington Tour: optionele hop-off bij The Springs of The Chalet bus stopt. • De orgelpijpenwandeling (3 uur terug) is een van de 60 geweldige korte wandelingen in Tasmanië. Een moeilijke wandeling die de contouren van de berg volgt langs de voet van de 120 meter hoge dolerietzuilen van de orgelpijpen naar het chalet. Rotsklimmers worden soms in actie gezien. Spectaculair uitzicht. Loop bergopwaarts op goed gemarkeerde paden van The Springs naar The Chalet, of bergaf van The Chalet naar The Springs (1,5 uur enkele reis).
kunanyi / Mt Wellington Tour: reis naar de top van kunanyi / Mt Wellington, 1270 meter boven Hobart. Hier heb je 30 minuten om te genieten van het spectaculaire uitzicht over Hobart en de oostkust, en naar het westen, uitkijkend over het Werelderfgoedgebied van Zuid-Tasmanië. • De top van kunanyi / Mt Wellington beschikt over een beschut observatiegebied met interpretatieve bewegwijzering, meerdere uitkijkposten en toiletten, inclusief toiletten voor gehandicapten. • Neem de Zig Zag Track over het plateau naar een uitkijkpost (20 minuten terug) en geniet van het adembenemende uitzicht op de bergachtige omgeving van Tasmanië. Een korte, gemakkelijke wandeling. • Maak een korte, moeilijke wandeling bergafwaarts over de steile getrapte Zig Zag Track en Pinnacle Track naar The Springs (1,5 uur enkele reis). Geweldig uitzicht op de orgelpijpen en Hobart en de rivier de Derwent hieronder. Stap in een latere bus bij The Springs om terug te keren naar Hobart. Stap in en stap uit de kunanyi / Mt Wellington Explorer Bus om een verscheidenheid aan korte alpiene wandelingen en mountainbikeroutes op de berg te verkennen. Bushaltes zijn onder Fern Fern Park, The Springs, The Chalet en Big Bend.
Hop-on hop-off bus Hobart: optionele hop-off bij bushalte Brooke Street Pier. • Brooke Street Pier is een drijvend bouwwerk, zowel een gebouw als een boot, die met het tij stijgt en daalt. Awesome!! David and Tony were great, very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I was provided with a map before I left to go hiking, and the second bus was timed perfectly for me to do the Sphinx Rock loop. Would definitely recommend, especially in good weather.

This experience was so easy. Jumped on the bus in town, the driver was lovely, and I felt safe with him driving up the mountain. We had blue, clear skies and no wind. Glad we did the 9.30 am trip, as when we left the top of Mt Wellington, the weather changed, and cloud cover came over, and the temperature dropped to 8 degrees. So our timing was great. There was enough time to walk down to the viewpoints and take photos as well. Well worth the trip if you are thinking about it.

Tony was the most knowledgeable guide I've experienced in Tassie...he even knew where to find the snakes in our journey. Lots of good "dad" jokes and plenty of historical photos to make it fun & educational too!

Tony was our driver and guide. He was terrific. He explained many sights along the way. We made various stops along the way, giving us the opportunity to see all that was available along the way. He made suggestions for places to eat when we arrived back in Hobart. And gave us the name of a wonderful chocolate store. Tony is an asset to the company!

Unfortunately the view from Mt Wellington on the day we were in Hobart was nonexistent. Cool, rainy and bleak. However the trip was made memorable by Tony’s fun and informative patter. A great guy. You will pick up more dad jokes than you will be able to carry. The hop on hop off bus was pretty typical. Comfortable seats, audible recorded commentary. A good way to get an overview of Hobart. With routes only every hour you will want to be sure that the area or areas in which you depart the bus will have enough to do and see to occupy you for an hour.

Excellent way for me to sightsee the peak of Mt Wellington/kunanyi without needing a car, and then also go hiking, meeting the bus later in the day to return to the city. Booking was easy, communications good. Bus clean and comfortable. Both driver/guides helpful, informative & friendly. Special shout out to Fiona in Operations who went above and beyond to help me with some lost property - much appreciated!
