kunanyi / Mt Wellington Explorer Bus is de officiële shuttlebus voor kunanyi / Mount Wellington. Er zijn meerdere dagelijkse vertrekken vanaf de waterkant van Hobart naar de top van Kunanyi / Mount Wellington. Dit is een geweldige flexibele touroptie voor bushwalkers en mountainbikers. Neem onze shuttlebus naar de top van Kunanyi / Mount Wellington, 1270 meter boven Hobart. Geniet van een spectaculair uitzicht over Zuid-Tasmanië vanuit het observatiecentrum en de uitkijkposten. Maak dan uw eigen terugreis naar Hobart. Het is een lonende wandeling van 3 uur over goed gemarkeerde paden door Wellington Park. Neem onze shuttlebus naar de top van kunanyi / Mt Wellington, 1270 meter boven Hobart. De top van kunanyi / Mt Wellington beschikt over een beschut observatiegebied met interpretatieve bewegwijzering, meerdere uitkijkposten en toiletten, inclusief toiletten voor gehandicapten.
De Noord-Zuidbaan is een populaire route voor mountainbikers en verbindt met het Glenorchy Mountain Bike Park in de noordelijke buitenwijken van Hobart. Stop tijdens je fietstocht bergafwaarts bij The Springs om de Noord-Zuidbaan te starten.

Loved this trip to mount Wellington. Our guide Paul was excellent very knowledgeable and also told us a few “dad jokes”. The weather at the top was cold and windy but exhilarating. I would definitely recommend this one if you are visiting Hobart.

Really enjoyed this trip. We were fortunate with clear and bright weather, but the Guide, Paul, was excellent with good advice and clear details about the environment, history and details about Kunanyi. It's a quick 2.5 hour tour, so excellent if you have limited time, but it can also facilitate some lovely hikes around the mountain of you have more time. Thoroughly recommend.

Tony was a great Tour Host. Wealth of knowledge. Even liked his ‘Dad’ jokes. Highly recommend! Unfortunately our view was not the best due to cloud cover. But we enjoyed it nonetheless. The waterfalls on the way up the mountain were amazing.

Our guide/driver was the full of life Paul. He made the loading and unloading of my bike easy. He has an absolute wealth of knowledge of all things Hobart and mt Wellington. His stories were engaging, and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip up to the top. I rode back down to the Brooke St pier, easily and with comfort. Riding your bike gives you even more opportunities to see what Paul had been describing. Would do this tour again in a heartbeat.

The best choice to visit MT. Wellington. I booked a one way ticket to take my way back for a bush walk. The bus driver in his function as guide explained a lot about Hobart and Tasmania in general during the bus drive upwards and recommended the best and viewful tracks downhill. For me, the price ist absolutely ok for the transportation and guide.

Driver was reliable and helpful in giving info on how to comeback to the city as I chose to trek the way back. Sorry I don't remember his name (2pm bus on jan 18)

If there were only more stars to give!. Well worth the trip up. Our driver/guide Christian was the epitome of guides. He was friendly, professional, amusing and well versed in the history of the mountain. While sharing that history, he also shared personal stories of his own which made us feel more like friends than guests. Now for the mountain.....take a jacket, take gloves, beanies, enclosed shoes, whatever you can do to protect yourself from the almost Arctic conditions 😂. Put this on your list if you come to Hobart, you won't regret it.
