- Tijdens grote festivals zijn er wegafsluitingen en files. De terugreis kan alleen worden verzonden naar het afgiftepunt dat het dichtst bij het hotel ligt volgens de wegomstandigheden die dag. De specifieke locatie wordt op dat moment door de chauffeur bepaald. Onze excuses voor het ongemak.

- Zorg dat u 15 minuten voor de geplande vertrektijd aanwezig bent in de lobby/ingang van het hotel.
- Aangezien dit een gedeelde tour is, gelieve geduld te hebben in geval van onvoorziene vertragingen langs de ophaalroute.
- Voor ophalen buiten het dekkingsgebied geldt een toeslag van minimaal RM50/auto (toeslag en ophaaltijd worden per ophaallocatie bepaald), toeslag die direct contant aan de bestuurder moet worden betaald
- Neem uw eigen paraplu of regenjas mee in geval van regen, want de tour gaat door zoals gepland, zelfs bij natte weersomstandigheden

This was a wonderful and well-organized tour from start to finish. We enjoyed visiting the historic fort, having dinner in the fishing village, and taking the evening boat rides. The fireflies were absolutely beautiful, but the highlight was seeing the glowing blue plankton beneath the dark sky. It felt almost unreal and was a very memorable experience. Bring insect repellent and wear comfortable shoes, but otherwise just relax and enjoy the evening. Highly recommended.

Unique experience excellent value for money. Air conditioned coach spotless and well appointed, Diner on the river enabled us to mix with other guests from 8 different countries. Monkey feeding was wonderful. Boat ride on the river was a hoot. Fireflies and blue tears are pure magic. Most of all Charlie an outstanding guide arranging pickup and drop offs, and was entertaining and knowledgeable whilst keeping a diverse group together and on schedule. Loved the experience
Good value for the money. We enjoyed seeing the monkeys and fireflies. The dinner was also very good. We suggest ordering the mud crabs with dinner if you like crabs. We spent way too much time on the boat at the end as the bioluminescent micro-organisms were not easily visible in the muddy water. We also suggest spending less time with the monkeys.
The monkeys are super cute but will climb on you and try to get in your bags and pockets so ve prepared for that. Dinner was incredible, the fireflies and blue tears were amazing. Thanks to Charlie and Magan for an unforgettable trip!
Well-organised and staff (Mac et al) were great. Monkeys and fireflies were fun. ‘Blue tears’ were a little underwhelming even on a dark night, but that’s not necessarily anyone’s fault.
The meeting point outside Starbucks Berjaya Times Square was easy to find and, although several buses were waiting, our excellent guide spotted our Viator paperwork and scooped us up. The tour was made so special by our guide, who told us interesting facts about Malaysian culture and economy, gave us a walk around the fishing village and made sure we were dropped off close to our hotel at the end. The meal as very, very nice - sharing a table/lazy Susan with our group of ten. I had been expecting more from the fireflies- there were thousands of them but teeny weeny. Conditions were perfect for the bioluminescence but, again, not what I expected - you dip in a net to aggravate the little plankton and they only shine for a second in your net. The high adrenaline boat ride and then the eerie waters of the Malacca Straits made up for it.
Went with my 8 yo son. We both loved it. It's less touristy, it is a bit off the track and the lights were very special. I did not put 5 stars as I did not see the point of the 30min stop at the lighthouse with the the monkeys around us. If you book, I advise you read carefully the recommendations, some ppl in our groups had dark short clothes and were bitten by mosquitoes quite a bit.
Chandran was an amazing guide. Very friendly, knowledgeable and relaxed. We did a group tour and the bus was really comfortable. The tour was smooth and fun from beginning to end. The monkeys were great to see, the meal was lovely with lots of tasty fresh food. The fire flies were absolutely beautiful and the blue tears were lovely. I highly recommend this tour.
