Pak je dapperste drinkmaatjes en strompel (op verantwoorde wijze!) door de meest boozieke en huiveringwekkende geschiedenis van Beantown – van spookcafés en spookrestaurants tot de griezelige begraafplaatsen waar het verleden van Boston weigert begraven te blijven. In Faneuil Hall, gebouwd in 1742, zou de geest van zijn naamgenoot, Peter Faneuil, nog steeds door de zalen dwalen. Misschien vang je een glimp op van zijn schaduw of hoor je zelfs zijn stem. Het gebouw, ooit een bruisende marktplaats en ontmoetingsplek, wordt ook achtervolgd door geesten uit het revolutionaire verleden van Boston, waardoor het een hotspot is voor griezelige ontmoetingen.
Bij Ned Devine’s, de locatie van de beruchte Green Dragon Tavern, is het niet minder spookachtig. Bekend als een Revolutionaire Oorlog hangplek voor figuren als Paul Revere, wordt de taverne achtervolgd door de geest van "Captain", een voormalige vaste klant die een tragisch einde ontmoette. Patrons melden dat ze vreemde mompels horen en mysterieuze schaduwen zien – zou het de kapitein kunnen zijn die nog aan de bar drinkt?

Het werd gebouwd in 1826 en zou worden achtervolgd door de geest van een voormalige serveerster die aan een tragisch einde kwam. Sommige diners hebben gemeld dat ze haar geest in de eetkamer zag rondzwerven of een plotselinge kou voelde. Er wordt gezegd dat Chester A. Arthur's geest spookt in de Union Oyster House - denk dat hij gewoon niet kon klauteren over zijn favoriete plek voor een goede maaltijd!

De Green Dragon Tavern in Boston is doordrenkt van zowel revolutionaire geschiedenis als spookachtige overlevering. Ooit de favoriete verblijfplaats van Patriotten als Paul Revere, Samuel Adams en John Hancock, was de taverne het centrum van politieke samenzweringen tijdens de Amerikaanse Revolutie. Men gelooft dat de geesten van deze revolutionaire figuren nog steeds blijven hangen, misschien nog steeds debatteren over vrijheid en vrijheid.

Experience was worth every penny
The guide was filled with knowledge of Boston Commons and the surrounding locations. The tour itself was very revealing and worth the money. Definitely a tour for history nerds like myself. I did learn something about someone I did not expect to learn about, Charles Dickens. So, if that entices you, then this is definitely a tour for you.

Boston's Haunted Pub Crawl is a great experience to top off a memorable day!
Tour guide Frost is fabulous! She is very animated, funny, and a walking encyclopedia! You easily experience that Frost loves sharing her exciting information with her walking and drinking tour guests. I learned a lot and had a great time on her fascinating tour! We visited famous pubs, enjoyed beer, and heard interesting ghost stories. Frost's tour was a perfect way to top a memorable day in Boston!

Great ghost tour

Not quite what we...
Not quite what we expected. A nice walk around some of Bostons oldest pubs with some ghost stories thrown in. Frost was our host and tried hard to deliver some excitement but was all a bot tame and rehearsed.

Great time, learned alot of history you won't learn on other tours!
Had a great time with Harlin, he was super knowledgeable and we learned lots of things we didn't learn on our other tours of Boston (we took 3!) Highly recommend taking this tour it was alot of fun and very interesting!

Nicole was great, very...
Nicole was great, very funny and charismatic. There were very minimal ghost stories in this tour (only a select few at the end) and it was primarily a pub crawl. It was a great guided pub crawl though, with little bits of history mixed in.

Bad night in Boston
First! Our tour guide did her best to make it a worthy experience. However, we only made it to 2 Taverns out of 6 and one was not on the list. Union Oyster house was closed. The Green Dragon was not allowing anyone else in the bar. We skipped several others and ended at the Bell in Hand and that was it. We did not see anything other than the Bell in Hand that was on the agenda. Again, tour director was great. The experience was poor.
