Onze vrolijke groep reizigers vertrekt vanuit Split in een voertuig met airconditioning en beschikbare Wi-Fi. Nadat je de wachtrij bij het park hebt overgeslagen, word je overweldigd door het gevoel dat je precies bent waar je moet zijn: omringd door het onmogelijke groen en het kristalheldere blauwe landschap. We lopen naar de mooiste van alle watervallen: Skradinski buk. Dit is waar de geheugenkaarten van uw apparaat van pas zullen komen, omdat u niet kunt stoppen met het maken van foto's. Zwemmen in het park is verboden omdat dit het ecosysteem zou verstoren. Nadat we je door het park hebben geleid, maken we een korte busrit naar het pittoreske stadje Skradin aan de andere kant van Krka. Daar bezoeken we de wijnmakerij Sladić, proeven we micro-lokale wijnen met kaas en olijfolie en leren we hun verhalen. Daarna heb je nog een uur om Skradin te verkennen en de finale bestaat uit het inhalen van de gemiste duik in Krka op het strand waar de rivier uitmondt in de Adriatische zee.

Doe met ons mee en omarm de intacte schoonheid van de perfecte oase in het midden van Dalmatië. Onze vrolijke groep reizigers vertrekt vanuit Split in een voertuig met airconditioning en beschikbare wifi. De rit duurt 1 uur en 30 minuten, maar je zou willen dat het langer was, want we zullen deze tijd gebruiken om de verhalen van onze gedurfde geschiedenis te vertellen. Nadat je de rij hebt overgeslagen en het park bent binnengestapt, word je overweldigd door het gevoel dat je precies bent waar je moet zijn - omringd door het onmogelijke groen en het kristalheldere blauwe landschap. Zwemmen in het park is verboden omdat het de perfecte harmonie van het ecosysteem zou verstoren, maar maak je geen zorgen, we zorgen ervoor dat je later in Krka kunt zwemmen.
We lopen door de charmante houten paden langs de rivier de Krka naar de meest magnifieke van alle watervallen - Skradinski buk. Dit is waar de powerbanks en geheugenkaarten voor uw apparaten hun geld zullen bewijzen, aangezien u nooit kunt stoppen met het maken van foto's.
Nadat we je door het park hebben geleid maken we een korte busrit naar het pittoreske stadje Skradin aan de andere kant van Krka. Daar houden we een wijnproeverij in Restaurant Skala van Vinarija Sladić. In Skradin bezoeken we de Sladić wijnmakerij, proeven we micro lokale wijnen onder leiding van een meester wijnmaker die u de educatieve en inspirerende verhalen van zijn wijnen vertelt. De wijnen worden gecombineerd met een lokale kaas & olijfolie.
Na ons bezoek aan de Sladić-wijnmakerij heb je nog een uur om de schoonheid van Skradin te verkennen en de finale zal het gemiste zwemmen in Krka op het strand waar de rivier uitmondt in de Adriatische zee inhalen.

One of the best tours we have booked, communication before was excellent, our guide Stipe was exceptional and very clear on what to expect but relaxed enough to give us plenty of free time to explore. The waterfalls were stunning and we should have spent longer there rather than adding on the wine tasting.

We really enjoyed this tour. It allowed for some flexibility in the park and in Skradin and our guide, Stipe, gave clear and instructions for getting to all of the important locations. It was really helpful to have the WhatsApp group to communicate. The restaurant/winery was lovely and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The wine was great and we had lunch during our tasting which was also delicious (highly recommend the skradin risotto).

We had an excellent experience overall! We had the chance to do a lot! Sight seeing, wine tasting and good food! The experience lasted 8+ hours which was important to us! Also, Stipe, our guide was wonderful and gave us a lot of recommendations for food and attractions to do!

Amazing tour and very well organized. Great stops ans a lot to see in a day. Winw tasting is great and I recommend Sladić winery. Good selection of wine to taste and buy. Also you can have more wine and olive oil around the town. Stipe was great guide with his recommendations and instructions during the day. Don't miss to walk with him around the park it is so much easier

Our guide Stipe was amazing very informative and very detailed descriptions all around. He was also very attentive to the group constantly ensuring everyone was accounted for and together and understanding of every little detail of the tour. Stipe was a great guide! Got to learn history and fun facts about Croatia with some laughs along the way! He led us to all the good spots in the national park and made an effort to point out all the overlooks and wildlife. Overall a beautiful day trip with ample time in the park. The stop in Skradin with the wine tasting and beach was a great addition - would definitely recommend especially if you want lots of time in the park!

Firstly, and importantly, the Krka Waterfalls were beautiful and well worth visiting. However, the day was poorly organised by our guide Stipe. Firstly, he gave only a brief and confusing outline of the day, relying on swathes of information posted to a WhatsApp group (tough if you hadn't brought your smart phone). Secondly, he rushed through the Park, with insufficient time to take everything in, given the number of visitors, having said that those going to the wine tasting had to stick to his personal timetable. This left us with 40 mins spare time which would have been better spent on a more relaxed walk. Thirdly, he was totally unsympathetic to my wife who had hurt her leg and was using a stick: "This should take 7 to 8 minutes" (looks dismissively at my wife) "or 10 minutes for you". Fourthly, he left during the wine tasting having given only sketchy details of how to get to the beach. His "It's 2 minutes over there" made no mention of the fact that we had to leave the town of Skradin and cross a bridge. All in all, the organisation was a long way from what we have come to expect from Viator.

The schedule is carefully planned in advance and is the same for every tour—it is not determined by the guide personally. The timing of the wine tasting is set in coordination with the winery, and guests who choose this option are accompanied there accordingly. On the day of your tour, two additional guests decided to join the wine tasting after arriving in Skradin. They walked ahead toward the winery, while the rest of the group, including your wife, continued at a comfortable pace. Everyone arrived before the tasting began. Guests typically have around 2 hours and 20 minutes in Skradin. The wine tasting lasts approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes, leaving additional free time afterwards. While there is time to enjoy the wine tasting along with lunch or a swim, it is generally not possible to fit every activity—exploring the town, having a full restaurant meal, wine tasting, and swimming—into the available free time. We therefore encourage guests to choose the activities that best suit their interests. Before free time begins, the beach is pointed out from the boat and again upon arrival in Skradin, with directions provided for those wishing to swim. We are sorry if any part of the experience felt rushed or if our communication did not meet your expectations.
