Deze unieke excursie combineert de schoonheid van de Adriatische archipel, UNESCO-erfgoed, authentieke lokale smaken en de adembenemende natuur van Krka National Park - allemaal in één onvergetelijke dag. De reis begint met een schilderachtige cruise door de eilanden tussen Srima en Prvić richting het spectaculaire St. Anthony's Channel, een van de mooiste zee-ingangen aan de Adriatische Zee. Varend door dit beschermde landschap en de historische baai van Šibenik, geniet u van een panoramisch uitzicht over de stad Šibenik en zijn twee UNESCO-schatten - de kathedraal van St. James en het indrukwekkende Sint Nicolaasfort. Korte stop bij lokale mosselkwekerij om verse mosselen te verzamelen. De cruise gaat vervolgens verder langs de riviermonding van de Krka, over het Prokljan-meer en door de canyon die leidt naar Skradinski Buk — de grootste en beroemdste waterval van de Krka-rivier. Bij aankomst in het Nationaal Park heeft u vrije tijd om de natuurwonderen te verkennen, attracties te bezoeken en te ontspannen.

Onder UNESCO bescherming is dit fort een van de essentiële Venetiaanse forten buiten Venetië, gebouwd voor verdediging tegen de Ottomanen. Beroemd als een van de mooiste forten aan de Adriatische Zee. Het werd gebouwd op het eilandje Ljuljevac, waar mensen uiteindelijk de weg naartoe plaveiden, en de toegang tot het fort is nu mogelijk over land. Ten tijde van de bouw, in 1540, kostte het maar liefst de helft van Dalmatië, 40.000 dukaten. De bouwers van het fort zijn de voorname Venetiaanse familie Sanmicheli.
Šibenik, als een van de historische Kroatische steden, werd voor het eerst genoemd in het midden van de 11e eeuw in een document van koning Petar Krešimir IV. Het uitzicht wordt gedomineerd door de vier vestingwerken : Sint Nicolaas, Sint Michael, Sint Jan en Barone. Van de heilige monumenten, waarvan de stad 24 kerken en zes kloosters telt, trekt de Kathedraal van St James, een uniek monument van de Europese sacrale cultuur, van een afstand de aandacht. De kathedraal is volledig gebouwd van steen, zonder andere materialen en is het werk van Juraj Dalmatinac en Nikola Firentinac, geplaatst onder de zorg van UNESCO Werelderfgoed.
Gavan's Court is de naam van een plaats aan het Prokljanmeer, waar, naast de historische overblijfselen van de muren, volgens de lokale bevolking, fragmenten van marmer, versierde stenen, Romeinse bakstenen, loden pijpen en sieraden werden gevonden. Volgens de legende heeft een hooghartige rijke vrouw, een "gavanuša", een engel vermomd als bedelaar drie keer ruw weggejaagd, en toen de engel haar hof overstroomde, ontstond het Prokljanmeer. * (gavan = rijke, arrogante, hooghartige man)
De reis gaat verder langs de Krka-monding, over het Prokljan-meer en door de canyon die leidt naar de voet van de prachtige Skradinski Buk-waterval. Aankomst in Krka National Park is gepland rond 11:30. Hier heb je vrije tijd om een landschap van kristalhelder water, weelderig groen en spectaculaire travertijnwatervallen te verkennen. Ontdek de beroemde Skradinski Buk, bezoek de historische waterkrachtcentrale Jaruga, verken traditionele watermolens die zijn omgetoverd tot charmante etnografische musea, geniet van lokale restaurants en blader door authentieke souvenirs. Krka National Park beschermt de mooiste stukken van de Krka rivier en de benedenstroom van de Čikola rivier. Een van de vele hoogtepunten is het rustige Franciscaner klooster op Visovac Island, genesteld in het hart van de rivier. Met zeven prachtige watervallen, waaronder de verreikende Roški Slap en de iconische Skradinski Buk, biedt Krka een onvergetelijke ervaring midden in de natuur, geschiedenis en Dalmatische traditie.

The boat trip and ship crew were great and very polite. Pleasantly relaxed atmosphere on the ship. The national park was pretty crowded.
The park is very, very beautiful! There are plenty of vantage points for beautiful photos. Don't forget the small waterfalls, with crystal clear water. You can see all the fish and species of aquatic plants very nicely. The route by boat was also very nice, fresh mussels picked up and then had a nice meal. It was very busy and touristy. You walk in a long line over the wooden decking. The food and drinks have high prices. So bring your own.
Good speed and explanation, beautiful park with all the freedom to do your thing. Tasty mussels on the way out and popcorn on the way back. Waterfalls are really very beautiful.
Instructions for meeting the boat were clear and concise. We were greeted by friendly, helpful, and good humoured crew. Departure was bang on time. The boat was very well kept and maintained. Prices at the bar on board were more than reasonable and we were fed the freshest mussels you could ask for - delivered direct to the boat from the mussel farm as we were en-route. All in a very professional and well organised outfit. In terms of the trip itself, Krka waterfalls is amongst the most beautiful parts of this planet I have ever seen. €70 is an absolute steal for this trip.
We've been to many boat tours and they were all perfect, except this one. The boat is nice and new but they offer nothing else than a taxi. we got a bowl of mussels which was nice and a watery rakija and that's it. No free water or any sandwiches. the prices are high in the bar .3 water is 3 euro, a bad tasting tap beer is 4 euro I would look for an other excursion company next time

I did not want to go on a tour with 50 + other people. Took bus from split skradin and the boat tour starts 200 meters from there (40 euros entry + 22 euros on bus return ticket). Best decision I have made. I went just after lunch and missed most of the crowd, had plenty of space and time to enjoy with no rush leas people and on my own pace. Skradin in a small town you can also have a drink food there while waiting for your bus to return. There is a bus each way almost every hour.
Wonderful day... The national park is already impressive. However, there was no possibility to bathe... This could confuse in the photos
Great boat trip from Vodice to Krka National Park. Comfortable and comfortable boat with fine sun deck. Great we got fresh shellfish along the way, although they could make a little more out of the visit to the shellfish farm. We had enough time in the park before the boat returned.
