Een bezoek aan Krakau en niet langs het kasteel van Wawel lopen, is net zoiets als Parijs bezoeken en de Eiffeltoren missen. We moedigen je aan om de Wawel te zien en een begeleide reis te maken naar een van de belangrijkste heuvels in Polen: de Wawel Royal Hill. Dit was waar Poolse koningen en koninginnen over Polen regeerden en de geheimen van hun leven konden voldoende zijn om het thema te zijn van verschillende reizen. We gaan de belangrijkste van die geheimen delen en je de belangrijkste plaatsen op de Wawel-heuvel laten zien, en uiteindelijk achterlaten bij de Wawel-draak, waarbij we je van tevoren vertellen hoe je hem kunt verslaan. Tot ziens in Wawel! De tour wordt gelijktijdig in het Pools en Engels gegeven.

We beginnen de tour op de Kanonicza 11-straat, de oudste straat in Krakau, waar veel renaissance- en barokke huurkazernes met decoratieve portalen bewaard zijn gebleven.
We lopen langzaam naar de nabijgelegen Wawel-heuvel, waarop de Poolse parel van architectuur is gebouwd. Je leert wie het kasteel heeft gebouwd en waar het geld voor de bouw vandaan kwam. We gaan bergopwaarts, passeren de Arms Gate, stoppen bij het monument van Tadeusz Kościuszko (een van de belangrijkste Poolse helden) en later - passeren de ingang van het centrale plein van de Wawel Hill. Je zult de Wawel-heuvel bewonderen, een mix van architecturale stijlen vanwege het bewind van verschillende koningen door de eeuwen heen. So I state that we did not have a Physical Guide but the Audio Guide which to be honest was quite boring, talked a lot and sometimes useless things and was very repetitive, sometimes certainly also said facts and things interested but it was all mostly boring. And I want to say DO NOT TAKE THE TICKET TO THE DRANGON’S DEN (aka the famous Wawel dragon cave) it’s literally 10 minutes of spiral stairs to go down and you go through a “cave” where you just take a shower because the condensation makes the ceiling drip and you just finally get out of the castle, it’s more stair time than anything else. I wouldn't do it again overall

I was not impressed I made this booking for the the 10:00 I am English speaking to a vital change it to 1:00 p.m. English Polish tour we left after 2 minutes cuz all she did was speak Polish seeking a refund

Amazing tour fantastic guide called Ewa - very knowledgeable about history of the place. The guide was very nice, friendly and knoweledgeable. The only problem is that we were the only 2 English people to book the tour so we had to join a Polish tour. The guide had to translate everything into English for us. Her English was excellent but it slowed the tour for everyone
