Kourion-ruïnes, Kolossi-kasteel en wijnmakerij Geleid bezoek vanuit Paphos

Het platteland van Cyprus is binnen handbereik tijdens deze fluitstop-tour. De ochtend begint met de eerste stop bij Petra tou Romiou voor foto's (alleen beschikbaar voor gasten uit de stad Paphos). De mythische geboorteplaats van Aphrodite ‘Petra tou Romiou’ is een interessante geologische formatie van enorme rotsen langs een van de mooiste kustlijnen van het eiland. Daarna ga je verder met een bezoek aan Kourion - een van de meest indrukwekkende archeologische vindplaatsen op het eiland. Het is klassiek Grieks-Romeins, met een halve maan aan stoelen die uitkijken op zee. Kolossi Castle is de volgende stop. Dit kasteel uit de tijd van de kruisvaarders is omgeven door bloeiende planten en een mooie binnenplaats. Spring terug in de bus met airconditioning en ga naar het dorp Fini, waar de lunch wordt geserveerd in een plaatselijke taverne. De volgende stop is het door de bergen omgeven dorp Omodos, waar u een begeleide wandeling door het dorp zult maken. Ten slotte krijgt u de gelegenheid om traditionele Cypriotische wijn te proeven in een lokale wijnmakerij voordat u terugkeert naar de resorts.

Je bezoekt ook het 'House of Eustolios', oorspronkelijk een privévilla die tijdens de vroegchristelijke periode werd veranderd in een openbaar recreatiecentrum.
Bezoek het kasteel Kolossi uit de tijd van de kruisvaarders
De lunch wordt geserveerd in een lokale taverne in het dorp Foini.
Bezoek het bergdorp Omodos, waar u een begeleide wandeling door het dorp zult maken
Ten slotte krijgt u de gelegenheid om traditionele Cypriotische wijn te proeven in een lokale wijnmakerij

It was ok. View point of aphrodite’s rock, viewing of archeological site, a visit to village & unused monastery, good lunch. There really was no interaction from guide - given info but nothing more.
Do not trust this company. We received numerous emails regarding the pickup, and including what the app said. This was incorrect information. When the bus did not pick us up we were told that we had received an email a month before saying a different pick up location which we did not get. Despite the app and every email saying one pick up location they have refused to give us a refund and will not answer why. There are much more trustworthy companies
Fabulous excursion, with a very knowledgeable and engaging guide, and a safe driver (the two Chris'). Enjoyed every segment of the trip. Highly recommended.
Enjoyed all aspects of the day and the various stops included. The guide gave an excellent overview and potted histories of Cyprus and the places we visited. As we were first pick-up and last drop off, it did make it quite a long day ( about 9.5 hours in total ). This was the only real downside to the day. The meal was delicious although wine wasn't great. Ruins and Amphitheatre were well worth seeing. Village pretty and not too bustling. Vineyard was very informative with nice wines to taste and buy. And then a history lesson to top it off on the way home from the guide, Chris. Not to mention our driver Nacho was fantastic.

Picked up at 8.40am from the hotel. Not until 10:30 first stop. Barely half an hour from the bus. Back half an hour on the bus. Quick off for a picture and back on the bus. Back half an hour drive. Half an hour stop at the crypts. Back on the bus. 2am in Paphos. No free time! Back on the bus towards hotel 3h30! Back at hotel at 7pm. Not recommended! Not worth money!
