De kerk van Onze Lieve Vrouw van de Rots, gebouwd op het kunstmatige eiland. Het eiland is ontstaan door het afzetten van stenen rond een klein rif, in de 15e eeuw.
we rijden terug naar Kotor waar we een wandeling van 45 minuten door de oude stad zullen maken. Als u door de smalle straatjes en pleinen loopt, ziet u prachtige paleizen die in de periode tussen de 15e en 19e eeuw toebehoorden aan rijke adellijke families. We gaan ook stoppen voor de St. Tryphon-kathedraal die dateert uit 1166, wat betekent dat het 326 jaar vóór de ontdekking van Amerika werd gebouwd, 179 jaar vóór de kathedraal van Notre Dame in Parijs, of 460 jaar vóór de pauselijke basiliek van St. Peter in het Vaticaan. We gaan ook stoppen voor het Maritiem Museum in de oude stad, waar je hoort over onze maritieme traditie, meer dan 1000 jaar lang.

Guide was excellent. Knowledgeable of the area and suggested alternative stops due road construction. She made the trip. The scenery was spectacular, the boat ride to our lady of the rocks was great. Enjoyed Kotor.

Just an ok tour with an ok tour guide. We did a whole week of amazing tours and this was our least favorite. May be great a great tour for someone else, but not a good fit for us. Just not very interesting.

From the pick up from the port, the guide was very attentive and all was very good. You were disappointed about the bad weather and your wife was feeling not well. The tour itinerary was provided online before the confirmation of the booking and the tour day, you asked not to get the church visits which was part of the tour. Then you asked to stop the tour and get back to the port. We feel sad that you didn’t get a good tour. We always do our best to get the maximum satisfaction of the customers.
