Sightseeing begint met een bezoek aan Perast – prachtige barokke kustplaats. Onze eerste stop is buiten het centrum van de stad bij een observatiedek met een panoramisch uitzicht om foto’s te maken van Perast en kleine pittoreske eilandjes Onze-Lieve-Vrouw van de Rots (Gospa od Škrpjela) en St. We vervolgen de tour met een georganiseerde boottocht naar het charmante eilandje Our Lady of the Rocks, gelegen tegenover de oude binnenstad van Perast, dat op de UNESCO Werelderfgoedlijst staat. Talrijke verhalen en legendes worden in verband gebracht met Onze-Lieve-Vrouw van de Rotsen en de gelijknamige kerk. Je hebt vrije tijd om het Stadsmuseum, kapellen, kerken, luxe herenhuizen te bezoeken. Naast een bezoek aan Onze-Lieve-Vrouw van de Rotsen, is de prijs van de tour inclusief lunch (aperitief - zelfgemaakte brandewijn , proscuito, kaas, olijven / hoofdgerecht - zeevis met mediterrane groenten, glas zelfgemaakte wijn ) in een restaurant in het hart van de oude stad van Kotor.

Met 17 barokke paleizen, 19 kerken maar nauwelijks meer dan 250 inwoners is Perast een klein stadje vol geschiedenis en legendes.
Our Lady of the Rocks is het grootste gebouw op het eilandje en er is een museum aan verbonden. Er is ook een kleine cadeauwinkel in de buurt van de kerk en een navigatielicht aan de westkant van het eilandje.
De oude stad - dat is het beroemdste deel van Kotor, waar de geschiedenis, cultuur en traditie van Kotor bewaard zijn gebleven. De oude stad van Kotor heeft een groot aantal monumenten van de middeleeuwse architectuur: kerken, kathedralen, paleizen en musea. De schoonheid wordt aangevuld met de veelheid aan smalle straatjes, pleintjes en markten. De oude stad van Kotor valt ook op door het grote aantal stijlvol gemaakte poorten, paleizen van de rijke families en een groot aantal trappen. De oude kern van Kotor wordt tegenwoordig beschouwd als de best bewaarde middeleeuwse stedelijke entiteit in de Middellandse Zee. De grootste en meest indrukwekkende zijn in elk geval de stadsbolwerken die de stad omringen.

Eric - very knowledgeable, informative and friendly. Felt very safe with Eric. A great guide. Took us to perast which included a boat to the lady of the rock island - a beautiful setting, then Eric drove us to a beautiful restaurant, Restoran Vidikovac, where we experienced fantastic local cuisine. Stunning and delicious! Eric's coordination of the day was outstanding, he made sure that he got us to the boat without queuing, and went above and beyond to the nearest point of pickup to save us walking a long way. Retuned us to the ship in plentiful time in the old town, and was one of our best days on our cruise, down to Eric.
Lukas was the best guide! He made our excursion exceptional! The time spent in Perast was wonderful. The restaurant owners made our lunch very nice and the view was outstanding! We ended our time in the old town of Kotor. Lukas certainly made the excursion a day to remember and was extremely friendly and informative. Thanks Lukas!!!
Nikoli took very good care of us. We were a bit disappointed as the restaurant where we thought we were going was closed for renovations. We were not made aware of this prior. We ate instead in the city center - the food was not good unfortunately. We also did not get lunch until about 530 pm.
Nikola was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We adjust the location of our lunch due to weather and traffic. We ate in the old town instead of on the hilltop. Food was very good. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone.

Our trip to Montenegro was absolutely amazing, and it was all thanks to our fantastic guide, Vuk. He truly made our experience unforgettable with his deep knowledge and passion for the local culture. The tour was food-focused, allowing us to taste the incredible local specialties that Montenegro has to offer. One highlight of the trip was dining at Restaurant Vidikovac, which we highly recommend. The fish soup there is a must-try—rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. As if the food wasn’t enough, the view from the restaurant is breathtaking, offering a stunning panorama of the valley and the sea. Vuk’s guidance and the combination of delicious food and spectacular views made this trip truly special. If you’re planning to visit Montenegro, make sure to explore it with Vuk. You won’t regret it!
We had the most wonderful day tour with Nikolai! He met us with a smile and escorted us to his vehicle. The car was easy to access, clean and he drove with safety. Nikola loves his country. He communicated in excellent English. Everything we did was well planned. The explanations of life in Montenegro were interesting. Our lunch spot was on a mountain cafe Terrace overlooking the bay. I recommend booking this tour if you want one of the best days of your life!!
Our guide, Vuk, was phenomenal! He was able to share history of the area, and explain the lifestyle of the island. He was funny, friendly, and considerate. The meal provided was extraordinary with beautiful views. Would highly recommend!
