Om 11:00 uur arriveer je op het beroemdste eiland van de Kornati-archipel: het eiland Mana. Terwijl je het eiland nadert, bereid je voor op adembenemende uitzichten op kliffen en ruïnes die in de jaren 50 zijn gemaakt voor filmopnamen. Hier heb je 2 uur de tijd om dit prachtige eiland te verkennen. Je kunt klifspringen meemaken of tijdens het snorkelen genieten van al het moois van de onderwaterwereld.
Na eiland Mana keren we via een andere route terug naar het huis van onze kapitein Igor, langs het eiland Kornat. Vanaf de boot zie je een Turet-fort uit de 6e eeuw en een kleine kerk Gospa od Tarca gebouwd in de 6e en gerestaureerd in de 12e eeuw. Je komt aan in een klein dorp met slechts zeven vissershuizen, waar geen andere excursieschepen toegang toe hebben. Je zult lunchen in het huis van kapitein Igor, met alleen de vredige natuur en de geuren van zelfgemaakte gerechten om je heen. Voor de lunch kunt u kiezen tussen een gegrild vis- en vlees- of vegetarisch menu, met gemengde salade en fruit als dessert. De wijn wordt geserveerd tijdens de lunch. Je krijgt ook de gelegenheid om de zelfgemaakte schnaps en olijfolie van kapitein Igor te proberen.

We received the reservation ticket 24 hours in advance, including the summons and all the information to present ourselves for this excursion, but upon arriving on time at the dock, there was only an empty boat with no other customers or crew. We contacted the local agency, which claims not to understand what happened and to find a solution. Four hours later, we are still without a response from them!! We are very dissatisfied and expect a refund, or even compensation for this lost day. We are still in Zadar tomorrow. Thank you for your urgent response.

The “breakfast” was like a prison meal. 2 pieces of bread 1 slice cheese 1 slice ?ham wrapped in a napkin and a cup of warm water or tang. Soda or juice cost you more. The boat did not have a single seat left. It was so loud with screaming kids and the inaudible announcements. The 2 hour island beach stop was not for the weak hearted. Climb a Rocky Mountain and say your prayers before you walk over the slippery moss covered rocks to get in to the water. As for the snorkeling equipment was nonexistent. The dinner at the fisherman’s house was fine. The fish albeit full of bones was tasty. The 10 hour tour was over in 8 and half hours. Consider that a positive. Certainly not worth $124pp
Arbiana Cruises worth every penny front the front staff at the stands to the crew working the boat. Having done many of these types of excursions before in many countries I had held this to a high standard and I was not disappointed. The staff are incredibly informative and kept regular updates about locations and its history, providing us with delicious simple breakfast followed by amazing lunch which catered to every palette while, provided with free local drinks. Prices on board are incredible reasonable compared to my previous experiences and the locations are bucket list worthy. I remain excited for my next trip to zadar to have this experience once again.
