Sluit je aan bij Daniela (69 jaar oud), Mario (71) en hun zoon Nicolò in de keuken thuis en leer hoe je enkele van de meest klassieke Italiaanse gerechten kunt bereiden (jij bent degene die ze helpt), te midden van veel gelach en plezier. Het zal geweldig zijn om u te ontvangen in onze keuken en enkele van de meest waardevolle recepten met u te delen die we van generatie op generatie doorgeven. Daniela kookt al meer dan 40 jaar met liefde voor haar familie, daarom houdt ze van koken en lesgeven aan nieuwe mensen die willen leren (en eten)! Het menu dat wij gaan bereiden en eten kan variëren afhankelijk van het seizoen en zal bestaan uit: - Voorgerechten - Eerst - Seconde - Toetjes Daniela & Mario leren je hoe je de Italiaanse keuken in huis haalt. Onze keuken weerspiegelt de eenvoud van wie we zijn, het weerspiegelt de cultuur van traditie en de liefde voor dit gebied. Plekken vol producten, mensen en verhalen die we willen vertellen. Our experience was booked several months ago and although I reached out 12 days before and up to the day of the tour it was cancelled within 6 hours of start time which DID NOT allow us to book another experience.
This was such an amazing experience for us. We went in Sept 2024. Nico and his family were the best with great conversation, food, wine and environment. Nico picked us up at our lodging and dropped us off near the Pantheon afterwards!
We spent the afternoon with a warm and welcoming Italian family. Talking, drinking wine together and cooking of course. It was a great experience that I can only recommend.
A fantastic night with a great family. The whole family truly make it feel as though you are having dinner with old friends. Its shows that even with a language barrier you can communicate and enjoy each others company. They recommended traditional restaurants near the Vatican for us when we were going there the next day, made the reservation for us and Nicola texted the next day to follow up to make sure we were able to go without issues. Not to mention the food and wine we had at the dinner was delicious. Highly recommend this experience to anyone going to Rome.

We had an amazing time with Nicolo and his family. It was a highlight of our trip and a must do! It was reminiscent of my childhood Sunday dinners at my grandparents' house. They willingly accommodated my vegan sister's diet while still making us a traditional Italian meal with great conversation. The kids also said it was their favorite part of the trip! Nicolo then went out of his way to drop something off at our hotel that was accidentally left behind. If we ever find ourselves back in the Rome area, we will be booking again for sure! Thanks again, Nicolo for the hospitality!

We had such an incredible experience cooking in Daniela, Mario and Nicolò’s home. They were so welcoming of us into their home and we created memories that will last forever! This experience was one of our favorite things we did on our 2 week trip. We will absolutely be incorporating some of the cooking tips we learned into our dinners back home. We would 100% recommended this to anyone who is looking for a one of a kind experience with an amazing family!

We were totally welcomed into this lovely family home by Daniela, her husband and and son, Nicolo who translated for us all. Beautiful food, great company and amazing experience.
This was easily our teen daughter's favorite part of the trip. We all enjoyed talking with Nicolo', his father Mario, and his Auntie. Nicolo' picked us up from our hotel which was very convenient. It was such a lovely evening! We practiced our Italian, our cooking skills and really enjoyed learning about the family and their lives. They all were SO supportive and friendly when they found out that my daughter loves to sing, and they insisted that she sing a song for them before she got to eat any of the delicious meatballs! This was a fabulous and friendly experience, and we all highly recommend it!
