Ontdek de prachtige, rustige vissersdorpjes van Kompong Phluk met deze unieke tour met kleine groepen en ervaar de echte Cambodjaanse dorpsmanier van leven. We behandelen beide dorpen (in tegenstelling tot andere die slechts een klein gedeelte beslaan) paalwoningen en zien hoe gezinnen hun dagelijks leven leiden en zich aanpassen aan het leven op het Tonle Sap-meer gedurende de seizoenen. Daarnaast ga je op pad en vaar je naar de nabijgelegen drijvende dorpen aan het meer met onze lokale professionele Tara Lake-gids (geboren in dit dorp). We zullen ook door de overstroomde bossen roeien, als het waterpeil het toelaat, of er doorheen slenteren, de hele dorpen zijn zo'n 10 meter de lucht in geheven om het waterpeil van het meer in het natte seizoen te laten stijgen, dus het is allemaal een geweldig gezicht het hele jaar door bezoeken we ook de Monks Pergola / trainingsschool, deze tour is voor mensen die drijvende en hooggelegen vissersdorpen willen ervaren, die maar weinig toeristen zullen zien, Kompong Phluk en het dorpsleven aan het meer, geen verborgen kosten

Nadat we de overstroomde bossen hebben verkend, gaan we verder langs de Kompong Phluk-rivier en het eigenlijke meer op, soms zijn er drijvende dorpen op het meer, andere keren zijn ze in de rivier zelf, maar het is altijd een geweldige manier om de rivier- en merensystemen te verkennen en te ontdekken, wanneer je het grote meer (Tonle Sap) binnengaat, zul je versteld staan van de werkelijke grootte, het Great Tonle Sap-meer, is enorm en gaat veel verder dan het oog kan zien, in feite is het voorbij 200 km lang en vanaf dit punt meer dan 40 km breed, dus een geweldig meer in feite, natuurlijk hebben de boten die we gebruiken een speciaal ontworpen platte bodem, dus ongeacht de tijd van het jaar kunnen we veilig reizen en dit unieke en interessante meer- en riviersysteem doorkruisen .na deze rondvaart over het meer gaan we de rivier op en passeren we de eigenlijke township vanaf een andere ingang en gaan we verder met ons transport terug naar de stad.
Onze deskundige lokale gids en chauffeur die allebei uit dit dorp komen, zullen je de Kompong Phluk-rivieren en de stad zelf laten zien, aangezien het waterpeil in het grote meer kan variëren van een halve meter tot meer dan 10 meter, net als het eigenlijke dorp en de rivieren hetzelfde, als zodanig is het dorp Kompong Phluk gebouwd op palen van ongeveer 12 meter hoog, om de constante seizoensvariatie van het water mogelijk te maken. samen met het ondergelopen bos maakt dit een zeer uniek en interessant dorp om te verkennen, we zullen aanmeren naast de Monks Training School, en inspectie van de grote Pergola is zeker een hoogtepunt met zijn uitgebreide en prachtige kunstwerken aan de muren en het plafond, met scholen, huizen, winkels, botenbouwers, reparaties aan visnetten, het is zeker een geweldig dorp om te verkennen, waarna we verder gaan naar de magische en behoorlijk overstroomde bossen, onderweg ook een paar drijvende huizen passerend, al met al een geweldige manier om een paar uur weg van de tempels door te brengen en een plaats binnen te gaan die de tijd lijkt te zijn vergeten.

It was really interesting ans our guide and driver couldn't do enough for us. We stopped dat a village market enroute which was fascinating and a little taste of how people live their life. We were provided with water and fruit and everything went to clockwork.

Excellent tour. Tino our guide was very good. Only 4 on our lunchtime trip but we'll worth it. Siem Reap is not just the temples - if you have 4 hours this is a must.

Beautiful half-day tour with our guide MR Friday! A local guide born in this floating village who knew by heart the habits of the inhabitants. The village was good however when the driver showed up in a ramork and the guide said that we only had your bookings should not have gone. Two hours there and two hours back most of it on rough dirt tracks my back was shot I am in pain I don’t want to go out for the rest of the day or evening. I had a massage that has helped some Not the fault of the guide. I won’t book another trip with these, I was told they were the best, I cannot give no stars. And the Ramiork had little to no suspensions paid for a car or van get a motorcycle with trailer
