Ontdek de Kleuren & Smaken van Curaçao! Maak je klaar voor een onvergetelijk avontuur door Curaçao’s meest adembenemende bezienswaardigheden en culturele pareltjes! Begin met een schilderachtige rit door het stadscentrum en beklim vervolgens de iconische Koningin Julianabrug voor een adembenemend panoramisch uitzicht over Willemstad en de prachtige haven. Duik vervolgens in de wereld van Blue Curaçao Likeur bij de beroemde Chobolobo Distillery! Bekijk het knutselproces, geniet van een proeverij en pak een fles om de smaak van het paradijs mee naar huis te nemen. Vervolgens gaan we naar de prachtige wijk Jan Thiel, waar het kristalheldere water van Caracas Bay en Spanish Waters Lagoon u onder de indruk zullen laten. Stop bij Caribbean Handcraft Market, blader door lokale schatten en geniet van de schilderachtige schoonheid. Stap ten slotte terug in de tijd in Scharloo, de Joodse wijk die op de UNESCO-lijst staat, met zijn levendige koloniale huizen en historische charme. Het Riffort is een 19e-eeuws verdedigingsmonument dat werd gebouwd om het eiland te beschermen tegen de invasie van piraten en vijanden. De belangrijkste locatie was gecentreerd in het hart van Curaçao. Het ligt aan de ingang van de Sint Annabaai in de westelijke wijk Otrobanda
Otrobanda is een van de historische wijken van Willemstad, gelegen aan de zuidwestkant van de stad, op Curaçao. Otrobanda is opgericht in 1707 en staat op de Werelderfgoedlijst van Unesco.
De Koningin Emmabrug is een pontonbrug over de Sint-Annabaai op Curaçao. Het verbindt de wijken Punda en Otrobanda van de hoofdstad Willemstad.
De bewoners van Otrobanda maken de buurt speciaal door kunstenaars aan te moedigen, hun buitenmuren te openen en regelmatig straatfeesten te organiseren met muziek en kunst. Ze gaven om de paar maanden deze feesten genaamd Kayakaya.
Het bereikt een hoogte van 56,4 meter (185 voet) boven het water aan de top (om schepen te huisvesten die de smalle haven binnenkomen), en weegt 3.400 ton. Het uitzicht vanaf de top omvat het hele panorama van Punda, Otrobanda en het Schottegat en is een van de hoogste uitkijkpunten op het eiland.
Scharloo (Papiamentu: Skálo) is een wijk en voormalige buitenwijk van Willemstad, Curaçao. Scharloo begon als plantage, maar groeide uit tot een welvarende wijk van Willemstad. Scharloo is aangewezen als Unesco Werelderfgoed.
Thuisbasis van de echte Curaçaose likeur. Een bezoek aan de Curacao Likeur Distillery bij Landhuis Chobolobo is een reis door de geschiedenis van Curacao. Je kunt het destillatieproces van de wereldberoemde Blue Curacao Likeur ervaren en leren kennen en genieten van de smaak zoals die al sinds 1896 wordt geproduceerd.
We vervolgen onze reis richting de pittoreske wijk Jan Thiel, waar u zich kunt vergapen aan de adembenemende vergezichten van Caracasbaai en de Spaanse Waterlagune. Maak een stop bij de handwerkmarkt van Curaçao, Caribbean Handcraft, om lokale souvenirs te bekijken en te genieten van het mooie uitzicht vanaf hun veranda.

Voor cruisegasten: Ontmoetingspunt is om 8.45 uur of 13.45 uur bij de tent "Online reserveringen" in de cruiseterminal. Gidsen zullen een bord hebben met "Samurai Curacao Snorkelen met schildpadden" Gidsen Uniform is rood. Voor hotelgasten: Samurai Curacao neemt contact met je op om de ophaaltijd door te geven. De ophaaltijd is tussen de 45 en 10 minuten voordat de tour begint. Het ontmoetingspunt bevindt zich in de lobby van uw hotel. Gidsenuniform is rood.

Trip was very informative. Nice bus with ac. What Viator doesn't tell you is the bus will drop you at the beach and pick you up in two hours Because trip description didn't state this, we didn't bring our stuff to swim. Had to pay extra to get transportation to the beach. Very unhappy with Viator. May start booking excursions outside of cruise terminal. 15 to 20 dollars cheaper

Very easy to find the meeting point. Naomi was a great guide and very informative. I would have changed one thing. That would be that she walk with us through the town instead of sending us on our own. I think we missed some things that would have been of interest. She did explain things after the fact, but in the moment would have been good. Really good day though!

Amazing amazing tour! Must do when in town, our tour guide and driver from Samurai Tours were awesome, informative and funny. It was mostly a bus tour and we got off 2x for shopping and pics which was perfect for us. You'll see the highlights of the city for sure
