Dit is de kleinste kleine groepsreis in de Yarra Valley en biedt een unieke en intieme eet- en wijnervaring. Begeleide sprankelende proeverij bij Chandon Het proeven van mousserende wijn op de plek waar hij echt wordt gemaakt, is een bijzonder genot — in de Yarra Valley, waar koele ochtenden en langzaam rijpende herfsten deze wijnen hun lef en finesse geven. Uw begeleide proeverij in Chandon is opgebouwd rond dat gevoel van plaats, en om u heen : een kleine groep, een ongehaast tempo, en iemand die u door elk glas loopt. Dit is geen snelle inschenking in een drukke bar. Je nestelt je en proeft je een weg door een weloverwogen vlucht van sprankelende Neem de tijd om te genieten van een proeverij van 5 mousserende basiswijnen in het speciale proeflokaal. Uw dag is inclusief een premium kaas- en wijnarrangement op landgoed De Bortoli, gehost in de exclusieve VIP- of Trofeeënzaal voor een intieme en verheven ervaring. Onder leiding van deskundige gastheren geniet u van een samengestelde selectie kazen die perfect zijn afgestemd op de uitstekende wijnen van De Bortoli, waaronder de iconische en meermaals award winnende Noble One - bekend als een van de beste dessertwijnen van Australië. Deze ontspannen en toch verfijnde setting biedt de perfecte finale, die smaak, verhalen en een echt gevoel van plaats in de Yarra Valley samenbrengt. Let op: mocht De Bortoli niet beschikbaar zijn vanwege privé-evenementen zoals bruiloften, dan bieden wij een even aangenaam alternatief op landgoed St Huberts, met een kaasplank gecombineerd met hun landgoedwijnen in een prachtige wijngaardomgeving.
Op de terugweg naar uw hotel rijden we Heritage Golf and Country Club binnen — twee door Jack Nicklaus ontworpen 18 holesbanen, een woonwijk en de thuisbasis van het Yarra Valley Lodge Hotel. Maar de echte reden waarom we hier vertragen is de lokale bevolking : een grote menigte wilde kangoeroes die direct op de baan leeft. We nemen de tijd, camera's klaar, voor wat vaak het meest gefotografeerde moment van de dag is.

With so many wine tours to choose from, it can be hard to find one that really stands out—but this one truly exceeded our expectations. As they say, you get what you pay for, and this small group tour was exceptional. There were only four of us in a comfortable van that seats eight, which made the experience feel relaxed and personal. Bill was a fantastic host—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely made us feel at ease from the start. The wineries we visited were of excellent quality, and the food was just as impressive. We loved the tastings, and the lunch was absolutely superb. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a more relaxed, unrushed day with a focus on quality.
Really friendly and personal service and great knowledge of the wineries and the region. Being in a smaller group allowed for good discussion and also flexibility. Both Nicci and Bill were really helpful and accommodating and ensured a relaxed and fun day was had.

Bill was a very knowledgeable tour guide, we had a lovely experience and enjoyed the wineries we visited. Although we weren’t informed of the group expanding to 8, as advertised, and the vehicle being different as to what was advertised, we would highly recommend the tour.

We were looking for a tour group that is a small group so that we can have the focus and worthy experience. In that morning, it was a Mercedes SUV picked us up from the hotel. Including the driver and a pair of American Father & daughter, it was six of us in total. In terms of wine tasting, we had gin, sparkling wine and red wines. It was a fantastic experience. We also went to chocolate store and enjoyed a tasty complimentary ice cream from the tour guide. There was also an enjoyable steak lunch for me. This is definitely worthy for money. It is good choice for everyone if budget is not an issue.

This was an excellent wine tour with great stops & tasty food & wine. I especially enjoyed the DeBortoli stop with a cheese & wine pairing. My only complaint is that the tour is advertised as having a guaranteed limit of 6 people & we had 8. Luckily everyone was very nice & we got along well, but this defeats the extra cost for a very small group.

We had a great tour of the Yarra valley with Bill! He surprised us with a stop to view the Kangaroos! The winery selections were great!
Small group is good . Tour was just the right timing. Tour Driver was reasonably friendly. Lunch was excellent. A more comfortable coach with toilets on board is what would have made it a perfect tour.
A small van for a group of 6 guests doesn't come with a toilet on board. The longest travel time between a bathroom is just over an hour : the time to travel there or back from the Yarra Valley. Thank you for joining us.
Fantastic experience! Bill (driver and tour guide was terrific)! He explained a lot about the region, ensured we saw kangaroos up close and personal, and was a smooth driver. The lunch was excellent but the cheese and wine pairings later in the afternoon at DeBortoli was the highlight. A wonderful day with only two other couples which made the day special. Highly recommend.

The highlight of our trip to Melbourne. Bill was the ultimate tour guide and host of this brilliant day. We originally chose this tour because it included Chandon (which didn’t disappoint) but the other wineries, lunch option and Four Pillars were equally impressive. Such a great day, can’t recommend them enough. Bill was so knowledgeable and friendly … he was a big part of our day being enjoyable. Thank you!
