Onvergetelijke tour naar de piramides van Teotihuacán, Basilica de Guadalupe en Plaza de las tres culturas met professionele en gediplomeerde jonge gidsen. Zeer recent model comfortabel transport. Nadat we onze reizigers hebben opgehaald bij de Zocalo, maken we een stop bij de Plaza de las Tres Culturas. Een prachtige plek die architectonisch de identiteit van Mexico-Stad samenvat. We zullen door de oude ruïnes lopen van wat vanaf de 16e eeuw het belangrijkste commerciële gebied in Meso-Amerika was tot de oorlog voor de verovering tussen de Azteken en de alliantie van Tlaxcaltecas met de Spanjaarden. We bezoeken de kerk van Santiago waar de eerste inheemse werd gedoopt na de verschijning van de Maagd van Guadalupe, San Diego. Evenzo maken we kennis met de meergezinswoningen ontworpen door de architect Mario Pani. Ze vertegenwoordigen de eerste fase van modernisering van Mexico-Stad in de jaren '50, betrokken bij belangrijke sociaal-politieke bewegingen zoals de beweging van 68 voor de komst van de Olympische Spelen in Mexico-Stad.
Later bezoeken we de belangrijkste katholieke tempel ter wereld na het Vaticaan, de basiliek van Guadalupe. Het is ook bekend als het "atrium van Amerika" naar de woorden van paus Johannes Paulus de Tweede. We zullen de Tepeyac-heuvel beklimmen waar de verschijning van de Maagd van Guadalupe oorspronkelijk plaatsvond. We gaan de oude basiliek van Guadalupe binnen die de opkomst van de Mexicaanse barok in Nieuw-Spanje vertegenwoordigt, gebouwd in de achttiende eeuw. Ten slotte bezoeken we het majestueuze werk van de architect Pedro Ramírez Vázquez waar vandaag de originele poncho-mantel zich bevindt, de nieuwe basiliek van Guadalupe. Je hebt genoeg tijd om te bidden, religieuze voorwerpen te kopen en mee te nemen naar de zegenmodule.
We bezoeken de mysterieuze stad waar mannen goden maken, Teotihuacan. We lopen door de weg van de doden, we bezoeken de piramides van de zon en de maan waar je de beste foto's en selfies kunt maken. We zullen de paleizen en tempels betreden waar onze voorouders hun sociale, politieke en religieuze erfenis hebben achtergelaten, belichaamd in indrukwekkende muurschilderingen.
Ambachtelijke werkplaats en lokaal restaurant met heerlijk Mexicaans eten. Je krijgt de gelegenheid om meer te weten te komen over het proces van het maken van lokaal handwerk met de uitleg van een Teotihuacano-gids. Bovendien kunt u zonder extra kosten een verscheidenheid aan voorouderlijke en moderne likeuren proberen, zoals Xoconostle, nopal-likeur, tequila, enz. Tot slot heb je 60 minuten om zelf heerlijk Mexicaans eten te eten en uit te rusten voordat je terugkeert naar Mexico-Stad.
