Geniet van een picknick op een afgelegen idyllische locatie (of een lokale maaltijd in een typisch restaurant, afhankelijk van de weersomstandigheden) voordat u teruggaat naar uw hotel. Laat het ons van tevoren weten over voedselbeperkingen of we overwegen geen voedselbeperkingen. De reisroute kan door de Gids worden aangepast om ervoor te zorgen dat de best mogelijke ervaring wordt geboden. Factoren zoals het weer, het aantal mensen in het park, of de kenmerken van de groep zal rekening worden gehouden door de Gids gedurende de dag.

Op weg naar Peneda Geres National Park voert de weg ons langs Braga. We stoppen niet op deze locatie.
De wegverbinding Braga naar het Nationaal Park loopt langs deze locatie. Vanuit het voertuig is het mogelijk om de toren van het kasteel van Povoa de Lanhoso te zien.
Ga rond het Peneda Geres National Park met ervaren en behulpzame gidsen. De tijd die op het park wordt doorgebracht omvat zwemmen in kristalheldere lagunes, wandelen in prachtige paden, stoppen in typische dorpen en wegverbindingen voor een grotere dekking van het gebied van het park.

We had Teresa as our guide, love love love her! Super friendly, very warm, knowledgable and fun which made the whole trip experience so much better! Would give her 5 stars for her service and definitely recommend her to anyone who’s looking for adventure alongside a fun loving and friendly guide!
The trip was perfect for us as a family. We went swimming in beautiful places with waterfalls, saw great viewpoints, and visited a local city for coffee and ice cream. Our guide, Teresa, had a wealth of knowledge about the park, the animals, and the trees. She also had a great sense of humor and was open to anything that could give us a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.
Teresa was an amazing guide — she took us to a secluded spot we never would have found on our own and spent the whole day with us. She was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and shared great background and tidbits along the way. Highly recommend!
The most magical day ever!!!!! I went during prime summer, so it was HOT, and the lakes were perfect. Just a forewarning, even on the hottest day, the water is still chilly. I personally loved it, but if you're sensitive to the cold, the views are 1000% still worth going for. Our tour guide Bea was absolutely amazing! Gave us so much of a history rundown, really cared for every single one of us, always checked in, answered any questions we had. The only downside was leaving. I could have stayed all day long!
A different experience (i.e. waterfalls, grand views) for visiting portugal. This trip can be even better if there is more than one hiking opportunity.

He took us to the most beautiful places in Peneda-Gerês National Park and shared interesting stories along the way. Everything was perfectly organized, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. There’s quite a rocky hike but amazing lagoon swimming as the payoff. Beautiful stops to see fabulous views.
If you want a change of pace from city site seeing, do not miss this day trip. The scenery is breathtaking and pictures will not do it justice. Our whole family took the plunge in the crystal clear, brisk mountain water at the waterfall. It wasn’t an easy hike to get there but very manageable. A favorite part was lunch at a local restaurant with the food made by locals who served the food family style through an open door to the kitchen. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the land and villages, sharing facts along the day. Honestly, do not miss out on this amazing National Park.
The guide, Bea, was fantastic. He has a lot of knowledge about the relevant issues related to the places we visited, the fauna, the flora, the problems of local communities, etc. Always with a smile, active, expedita. In addition, it unfolded to please everyone and we had, thanks to her, a full day in the park of Peneda Gerês.
