Een meeslepende, leerzame tour met kleine groepen rond het eiland onder leiding van doorgewinterde lokale gidsen met 20 jaar gidservaring – gidsen per roeping die graag de unieke ervaring van Tahiti delen. We laten niet alleen de bezienswaardigheden zien; we leggen Polynesische cultuur, geschiedenis, geologie en plantkunde uit bij elke halte, met persoonlijke aandacht voor elke reiziger met maximaal 7 gasten en fotostops op maat. Reis in een gelicentieerde minibus met airconditioning en gratis water en fruit van het seizoen wanneer beschikbaar, en voel de warme Polynesische gastvrijheid die de dag informatief en leuk maakt. We reizen tussen weelderige bergen en de turquoise lagune, stoppen bij de meest interessante attracties - waaronder een van Tahiti's grootste watervallen, schilderachtige uitzichtpunten, marae (heilige tempel), zwarte zandstranden en Mara'a Grotto. Marae Taata is een van de grootste traditionele tempelcomplexen van Tahiti, met drie verbonden marae met duidelijk steenwerk. Het biedt een krachtige blik in het Polynesische ceremoniële leven en de architectuur, te midden van weelderige kustlandschap.
Mara’a Grotto — een door varens gedrapeerde grot met een kristalhelder bronzwembad en koele, natuurlijke schaduw. Een rustige fotostop en korte wandeling, perfect voor een verfrissende pauze.
Vaipahi Water Gardens — serene lentegevoede paden met kleine watervallen, lelievijvers en weelderige tropische planten (etnobotanische collectie). Gemakkelijke, schaduwrijke wandelpaden en geweldige foto plekken voor een rustige vakantie.
Faarumai Watervallen - een adembenemende 300 - voet waterval in een weelderige smaragdgroene vallei. Geniet van een kort, gemakkelijk pad naar koele mist, natuurlijke schaduw en fantastische fotoplekken tussen varens en basaltkliffen.
Point Venus — historische zwart-zand landtong bij Matavai Bay met een klassieke vuurtoren en een wijds uitzicht op de oceaan. Leer het verhaal achter “Muiterij op de Bounty” en de broodfruitmissie die hier begon, plus andere mijlpaalmomenten in de geschiedenis van Tahiti.

Mary Jane our guide is an excellent cultural ambassador for Tahiti. We highly recommend her tour. She took us to major sites, providing lots of information about each. She even took us to her Mother's home for delicious banana crepes, a d is a descendants of the authors of the book Mutiny on the Bounty! This is the perfect tour if you only have one day.

4.5 hour island tour. The air conditioned van picked us up on time at our hotel. We picked up other guests and had a full van. However, our group was comfortable and our guide was fun and knowledgeable. We traveled completely around Tahiti and stopped at several cultural and tourist sites. I highly recommend this tour.

Our guide Edouard was a few minutes late to pick up our small group, as he had a morning tour, as well. He covered so much with us, especially cultural info re: Tahiti and Papeete. We drove the entire coastline of the island and saw waterfalls, caves / grottos, ma'rae (sacred areas), beaches, the lighthouse outside Papeete. He's well versed, answering all our questions. He's a very good driver! Fun afternoon, very nice group of people

This tour is a great way to go right around the Island of Tahiti if you don't have a car. We also stopped at a lot of beautiful and interesting places on the way round.Our guide was so friendly and very knowledgeable about the Island of Tahiti.
Outstanding Tour. Picked up on time at the port with our guide, holding up a sign with our name on it. He was extremely informative and took us around the entire island and showed us so much and more. He also bought us rambutan fruit and didn’t charge us for it. Totally first class operation. His name is hard to say in Tahitian, but it means white men. I would highly recommend you taking this tour if you want to know the island of the capital of Tahiti. The waterfalls are beautiful too.
