Voel de sfeer van oude Polynesische spiritualiteit in deze authentieke stenen openluchttempel (marae). Velen zeggen dat de mana – de levenskracht van het eiland – nog steeds tussen de stenen blijft hangen en een krachtig venster biedt op de traditionele cultuur en geloof.

We really enjoyed this half-day tour around Tahiti. Our guide was informative, friendly, and accommodating, making the experience both relaxing and interesting. We visited a beautiful waterfall, enjoyed sampling some delicious fresh fruit, and appreciated the small group atmosphere, which made the tour feel more personal. A great way to see some of Tahiti's highlights!

Outstanding day well spent esp if you are just getting into Papeete as you will see so much and learn so much about the culture, history and people. Eric and Eduard are excellent guides. This is a great way to start your trip, then rent a car and go back to the places you might want to see more of or stop to see areas of interest. Or book another walking tour of the city. Or do this and then do the tour into the mountains.

A wonderful and comprehensive tour. Our guide was extremely well versed on the attractions we visited. He bought us water and fruit to enjoy while we were traveling around the complete circle of the island. i had done a similar tour a few years ago on a tour sold to us on our cruise ship. This tour is a fraction of the price and far better value. The small group tour is a real winner. If your cruise line tries to frighten you about a local tour , and leaving without you, just book a morning tour. The pick up service is excellent and ran to time.

We really enjoyed the tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, and the van was clean. The van, however, was completely full; which made things a bit "snug". Additionally, the guide seemed rushed, and we moved through some sites quickly.

The tour around the island was interesting, with a number of stops along the way. The guide gave us plenty of information. However, it would have been good to have a little more time in some places, such as the water gardens. Considering the length of the tour, a quick stop for a snack somewhere would have enhanced the experience.

Eric is professional and has good sense of humor. He took us to all historical and locations and provided details important historical facts. I learned a lot more about French Polynesia. Our whole family enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

A most interesting and enjoyable day. Our guide Tamatea (as well as proving to be an excellent driver) demonstrated an almost encyclopedic knowledge of all aspects of the island and its history, and in particular of the medicinal and nutritional values of pretty every plant or tree we saw. The generous samples of tropical fruits were a nice touch too.
