Klassieke wandeling in Boedapest
Beschrijving
Een bezoek aan de beroemdste monumenten in het centrum van de Hongaarse hoofdstad: zowel in Pest als in Buda, aan beide zijden van de Donau. De belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden van het bezoek zijn de Sint-Stefanusbasiliek, het parlementsgebouw en de beroemde wijk Buda Castle. Hoewel de tour grotendeels te voet is, komen we met het openbaar vervoer aan bij de Burcht van Boeda. Tickets voor het openbaar vervoer zijn niet bij de prijs inbegrepen. Het bezoek duurt normaal gesproken 3 uur.

Je ziet het sfeervolle plein voor de basiliek.
Je bezoekt het meest monumentale religieuze gebouw van de Hongaarse hoofdstad met verschillende beelden en fresco's en de oudste menselijke hand ter wereld: de gemummificeerde rechterhand van Sint Stefanus, de eerste Hongaarse koning (uit 1038). De kerk is op zondag gesloten voor toeristen vanwege de eredienst.
Het majestueuze parlementsgebouw van Boedapest, gebouwd aan de oever van de Donau in de late 19e eeuw, biedt een van de beste fotolocaties van de stad.
Je neemt het openbaar vervoer om de beroemde Burcht van Boeda te bezoeken: eerst verkennen we het panoramische terras van het Koninklijk Paleis met het mooiste uitzicht over de stad.
Bekijk een prachtige fontein uit de 19e eeuw.
Daarna gaan we van het kasteel van Buda naar het paleis van de president met de bewakers in historische uniformen.
Onze tour eindigt bij de prachtige Matthiaskerk, gebouwd in de middeleeuwen in gotische stijl. (Het bezoek binnen is ook mogelijk na de tour, maar hiervoor is een toegangsticket vereist dat 4 EUR / persoon kost, apart te betalen.)
Als volgende stop op de tour krijgt u de kans om een van de mooiste en meest fascinerende plekken in Boedapest te bewonderen, het Vissersbastion met het beroemde panorama over de rivier de Donau en het Hongaarse parlementsgebouw.

We truly enjoyed the tour! The tour guide, Dalia, was very knowledgable and explained the history of Hungary and the places we visited. We learned a lot and love to come back to Budapest!
This tour was a great introduction to Budapest. We were a small group of three and really appreciated the relaxed pace and well-planned route through both Buda and Pest. Our guide, Bea, was wonderful! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to listen to. She shared the history in a way that felt engaging and approachable. We left feeling oriented and excited to explore more of the city. Highly recommend for first-time visitors.
Alexandra was a fantastic guide who easily accommodated an extra stop when we asked. She was very knowledgeable and gave us a great overview of Budapest. The tour itself covered almost everything we wanted to see and allowed us to explore the Buda side after the tour. She also gave good restaurant suggestions.

This was an excellent tour of Budapest with tour guide Anna. She was very knowledgeable about all the exhibits we saw and took the time to explain the Hungarian history through the ages as well as each exhibit. Anna gave us time to take pictures and explained the transport system to us which we used for the other two days we were in the city. Our three hours wet by too quickly but they were very informative and knowledgeable. Thank you Anna for a great day even if it was raining.
Our first tour of Budapest following an overnight flight - guide was excellent and kept us on the move and provided tons of information on the history of Budapest and the buildings and monuments we passed by - we were very happy with this tour!
