Kom een dagje zeilen in Boston Harbor aan boord van een van onze klassieke houten schoeners, Liberty Star of Fame. Weg van de drukte van de straten van de stad en genieten van wat quality time out op het water met een onovertroffen uitzicht op de stad. Denk aan onze Pastries & Prosecco zeilen aan boord van Liberty Star, zondag om 11 uur. Dit is een 2 uur durende vaart inclusief gratis gebak en koffie van Flour Bakery evenals mimosa's! Drankjes zijn aan boord te koop via contant geld, krediet of Apple Pay - op ons menu staan verschillende bieren die hier in Boston worden gebrouwen! We hebben ook lokaal gedistilleerde dranken, wijn, frisdrank, sap en water naast verschillende snackopties. U bent van harte welkom om uw eigen snacks of lunchpakketten mee te nemen, maar geen koelboxen of buitendranken. Er is geen formeel verhaal tijdens onze dagzeilen, maar vraag het gerust aan de kapitein en bemanning en ze delen graag hun kennis van lokale bezienswaardigheden en geschiedenis.

De 90 minuten durende tocht aan boord van de Liberty Star is een geweldige, gezinsvriendelijke manier om Boston vanuit een nieuw gezichtspunt te bekijken. Ontsnap aan de drukte van de stadsstraten en geniet van wat quality time met uw dierbaren. This is a lovely and relaxing sailboat excursion right off of Boston Harbor. The meeting location is a bit hard to find, but you can’t miss the Oyster Bar right next door at the location, where you’ll be able to find the meeting point. The crew was excellent and I’d highly recommend to do this in an afternoon, especially if you spent the morning walking around the city.

This trip had potential but felt light on substance. We had free time in Boston on a Saturday and booked it as a fun couple outing, but once we saw how many people were being packed onto the boat, we honestly expected an underwhelming experience. Fortunately, there was enough seating for everyone, which was a major plus. The ship itself was cool to see, especially its classic style, but the crew offered little information about it. We picked up a few interesting tidbits, but not nearly as much as I’d expected for the time spent on the water. The harbor view was pleasant, but the crew didn’t share any details about the coastline that I heard. It’s a lovely trip on the water though. The real highlight of the trip was the opportunity for hands-on activity at the beginning. The captain and crew invited volunteers to help get the ship out of port, and we had the delightful opportunity to raise the sails while calling out “HEAVE” and “HO.” Now that’s what I call a great time! I’d love to see this tour offered with a bit more historical flair. I think many people would enjoy learning more about the history of these ships, and even more, the people who lived & worked on them.

Our experience, however, is focused on enjoying the sail itself rather than providing a narrated historical tour. We are sorry if that distinction was not what you were expecting. crew is great, service is great, my only thing is that boat just circles around harbor between docks and logan, other similar sailing cruises go further pass logan and some islands and then come back which makes it a bit more interesting...

Took a sail with Captain Jasper, Logan and Celia on Fame. What a fantastic way to spend a sunny Boston afternoon! Captain and crew were friendly, entertaining and super knowledgeable about all things Boston and sailing. Would highly recommend!
