Klassieke Jeruzalem Oude Stad - Zelfstandige tour
Beschrijving
Dit is een unieke self-guided tour. Je gids ligt in de palm van je hand. Met het DGuide-platform kunnen reizigers in hun eigen tempo toeren en zo veel of zo weinig informatie opnemen als ze willen. Gebruikers kunnen de voorgestelde route volgen of van het pad afwijken en later terugkeren naar de rondleiding. De tour is ontworpen en de inhoud is samengesteld door Uri Goldflam, een professionele gids en opvoeder met 30 jaar ervaring als gids.

Reisroute
Stop nr. 1 - Dit is het toegangspunt tot de oude stad. Na een korte uitleg over waar we zijn, gaan we de oude stad binnen en gaan we op weg naar de volgende halte.
Station 2 - de Toren van David is een historisch museum dat in de oude Citadel zelf is ingebouwd. Geniet van een prachtig 360 graden uitzicht over de oude en nieuwe stad, evenals een bezoek aan wat mogelijk de locatie is van het proces van Jezus.
Station 3 - Mt Zion is de thuisbasis van verschillende locaties die we zullen bezoeken. Te beginnen met de Dormition-abdij, de Bovenkamer (of Kamer van het Laatste Avondmaal) en de traditionele locatie voor het graf van koning David.
Station 4 - De Romeinse Cardo van Jeruzalem. Jeruzalem herbouwd door keizer Hadrianus in de eerste helft van de 2e eeuw. Hier lopen we over de Romeinse stoep en zien we de replica van de oudst bekende kaart van Jeruzalem - de Medeba-kaart.
Station 5 - Een relikwie van Jeruzalem genoemd in de Bijbel, uit de tijd van koning Hizkia - 2700 jaar geleden
Station 6 - Opgravingen op Jeruzalem uit de eerste eeuw. Enorme huizen en dure versieringen met bewijs van de grote verwoesting van de stad door de Romeinen in 70 na Christus.
Station 7 - De Westelijke Muur, een overblijfsel van de Tempel in Jeruzalem. De dichtstbijzijnde plaats bij de Tempelberg waar Joden kunnen bidden.
Station 8 - De oorspronkelijke kerk gebouwd in de 4e eeuw, en de vele latere reconstructies, op de traditionele locatie van de kruisiging en opstanding van Jezus Christus.

Uri has such a depth of knowledge and he painstakingly shares all the details. Not only does he have tons of information but he also gets an A plus for his efforts to share it with us.
