Volg deze 4-uur durende begeleide food tour en ervaar de Oostenrijkse eetcultuur. Oostenrijkse meest heerlijke gerechten en wijnen. Het Weense koffiehuis is ideaal voor een goed begin van de dag. Maak kennis met een van de laatste traditionele koffiehuizen in zijn oorspronkelijke staat en geniet van een grote selectie koffie en gebak. Van daaruit bezoeken we de beroemde Naschmarkt waar we een verscheidenheid aan Oostenrijkse kaas proeven. Eet en drink als een local. Bij onze volgende halte geniet u van traditionele Leberkäse en bijgerechten. Laten we onszelf dan trakteren op iets zoets. Daarom ontdekken we een van de beste en laatste snoepfabrieken in Oostenrijk. Na een korte wandeling wordt alles klaargemaakt voor een wijnproeverij van typisch Oostenrijkse wijnen in een historische wijnkelder. Onder de drie geproefde wijnen is de Grüner Veltliner. Verhelderend bezoek aan een ambachtelijke chocoladewinkel en tot slot bezoeken we een slagerij waar we Oostenrijkse spekham met been proeven en meer. Kom dorstig en hongerig!

The tour was well thought out with good food and interesting stops along the way. However I felt it was a little overpriced for what you got and Lucas had a strange attitude towards tourists - with quite a few disparaging comments. I felt this was a little inappropriate given we were clearly tourists ourselves and his business is dependent on tourism.
A fantastic cross section of the city's gastronomy. You have coffee, a cheesemonger, a baker, chocolatier, a butcher, etc - with a wine stop too. We've already (48 hours later) revisited two of the locations from the tour. It comes highly recommended from us.
Did food tour of Vienna our first day. Our guide, Lucas, is a former chef and very knowledgeable about food, wine, and cultural traditions of the region, and kept our group (11 people) very engaged the entire time. Adequate time was given for shopping at a candy and chocolate shop, both stops on the tour. At the end of the tour Lucas gave out maps of recommended restaurants and coffee houses. Overall an excellent experience! Thank you Lucas.
I really enjoyed this food tour! Definitely come hungry as there is a lot of food to eat. We had an excellent mix of authentic foods from sweet to savory. I thought all the details of the tour were very well done and I liked tasting authentic Austrian dishes and artisanal products I would not have known to try. Our tour guide was very funny and I appreciated hearing his insights on local food and products.
Great insight into the Vienna food scene in a relaxed, fun way, visiting a number of different places to sample lots of tasty treats, including some very nice local wine. Lukas, our guide, was incredibly knowledgable and the tour was very well thought out.
A wonderful way to start our visit to Vienna. We had a very enjoyable walk around Vienna talking and learning about local foods. Everything we sampled was delicious. It was personalized and our guide was patient and attentive to our needs.
