Klassiek concert rond de Vivaldi-kerk in Venetië

So amazing so much better than I thought and easy to find sound and talent was awesome especially for the great price

While looking for something different to do in Venice I came across the Vivaldi concert. Classical music in a church. My husband and I enjoyed every moment. As novices to classical music we, along with most audience members, clapped at the wrong time. As it turns out there are many “parts” for the violinist and just because he pauses does not mean he’s done. Thankfully the second violinist shook his head when it was his turn-indicating we should not yet clap. Not knowing much about classical music I can say I truly appreciated the playing. It was a wonderful experience. No photos or video allowed during the performance-which was perfect because you could only get in the moment! Highly recommend. Just know that Apple Maps is not completely accurate with the satellites. We did a45 minute walk from our hotel to get here and maps would show us off trail, but we weren’t. As we neared We were fortunate to find a local to point us in the right direction as maps had said we arrived at our destination and we were about 4-5 blocks away. So leave yourself some extra time to arrive.

Next level good. Absolutely worth it!!! The musicians passion is contagious. We were absolutely transported to another world.

The performance was very moving. Each violinist showcased their special piece. The acoustics brought the performance a special “wow”! None in our group of six are classical music aficionados, but we all loved it. Highly recommended.

Really beautiful, the musicians were wonderful! While we loved it, my kids were bored, so likely would t recommend for kids under 10. There was a handful of other kids who also fell asleep during them performance.

After a long day of travel and getting into hotel we went to eat (next door to church) and then experienced the concert. Music and musicians were excellent, well worth the small admission. Perfect start to our Venice trip!

They are truly exceptional, perfect execution. Closing your eyes you would go back in time.To do it again absolutely!

To know that we were sitting in the church where Vivaldi played as a child and listen to exceptional musicians share their talent in playing some of his works was nothing short of breath taking. The concert was about 90 minutes, including a brief intermission. We loved every minute of this evening. This is not a theater production in costume; this is a top-rate talented group of musicians playing with passion and gusto. It was the cherry on top of a wonderful trip to Venice!
