De Balsa rivier is de beste wildwaterrafting keuze in het noordelijke deel van Costa Rica deze grote klasse 3 & 4 op het bovenste deel, Balsa River voor een avontuur dat je niet snel zult vergeten! Stop onderweg om een beetje uit te rusten, een beetje te zwemmen en te genieten van wat vers Costa Rica-fruit. Na het wildwaterraften krijgt u een schone handdoek en een waterfles en nemen we u mee naar een lokaal restaurant om een lunch in Costa Rica-stijl te nuttigen Dagelijkse tours vertrekken om 08:30 uur vanuit La Fortuna voor onze Class IV White Water Rafting Adventure op de Balsa rivier en is inclusief vervoer heen en terug van lokale La Fortuna hotels, alle apparatuur, gidsen, fruit op de rivier, handdoeken, water en costarican lunch. We komen om 13.30 uur terug in La Fortuna. Deze tour is geschikt voor iedereen met 12 jaar en ouder.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
- Veilige schoenen met gesloten tenen zijn vereist voor raften (slippers of krokodillen zijn NIET TOEGESTAAN). Neem comfortabele kleding mee om nat te worden en te bewegen tijdens het peddelen, en ook schone kleren. - Zorg ervoor dat u op het juiste moment bij de receptie van uw hotel of ophaalplaats aanwezig bent. Gidsen en chauffeurs wachten maximaal 5 minuten na de ophaaltijd. Als je niet zeker bent van je OPHAALTIJD bel of stuur een whatsapp bericht naar + 506 89342626. Let op : "Pick up time" verwijst naar de tijd dat we u ophalen bij het hotel, "Start Time" verwijst naar de tijd wanneer de tour begint bij ons kantoor. Pick-up service is alleen inbegrepen voor hotels gelegen op 5 km rond La Fortuna Central Park. Wij bieden geen pick-service op Airbnb, maar u kunt rijden of neem een taxi naar ons hoofdkantoor in La Fortuna, waar wij bieden veilige parkeergelegenheid en meer faciliteiten.

Travelers should expect courteous, friendly, and professional staff. They should also expect thrills and possibly spills along a beautiful scenic river/s. I should also remember the banks of the river are alive with nature. Expect to see slough, birds, and monkeys. Fresh pineapple and watermelon accented the break along the riverbank. Kudos to team Joseph, David, and William!
Absolutely incredible! The guides were amazing and informative. They pointed out wildlife and taught us about the local culture and had so much to tell us. The actual rafting was gorgeous and thrilling and has been by far the best activity we have done. By the end it was like we were one giant family and I would 1,000% recommend this to anyone visiting La Fortuna.
We were very excited to do this activity but unfortunately the day before the activity I informed the company I had to reschedule due to uncontrollable vomiting and diarrhea. Unfortunately it didn’t get better and I ended up staying at the hospital for a virus. I informed the company of this and provided all doctor and hospital documentation and they would not even consider any type of refund. I had other excursions booked with other companies and they were nice enough and considerate to refund my tickets. Honestly this is not a matter of even the money lost but of the inhumane and lack of empathy that was shown. They expected me to come the next day to the activity when I spend all prior day at the hospital and to come with a virus which is even worst. Inhumane and will be contacting U.S embassy in Costa Rica as if they are willing to let folks do rafting with a virus that can infect others.

The safety and well-being of our guests have always been our highest priority, and we would never encourage anyone experiencing vomiting, diarrhea, or any contagious illness to join one of our activities. Unfortunately, your cancellation request was received within the period covered by our published cancellation policy. Our policy applies based on the amount of notice provided before the scheduled departure, not on the reason for the cancellation. By that time, transportation, certified guides, meals, safety equipment, and other third-party operational services had already been confirmed and incurred costs that cannot be recovered. These terms are clearly published on our website and are applied consistently to all guests. We certainly understand that other companies may choose to make different commercial decisions in individual situations, and we respect that. However, to remain fair and consistent with all of our guests, we must apply the same cancellation policy equally in every case. We regret that this situation left you with a negative impression of our company, as compassion for our guests and strict safety standards are values we take very seriously. We genuinely wish your trip had turned out differently and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We wish you good health and all the best in your future travels.

We had 4 people in the raft and the guide (eziquel). He was really helpful and nice. I was kinda worried having never done this before but it wasn't that bad and ok to do as a beginner. It was my favorite activity at La Fortuna.
A stand out activity for us! My partner and I did this tour in April and loved it, very much a highlight of our trip. Our guide (Braulio M) was great, very energetic and enthusiastic! During the rafting we encountered a surprise rapid(?) that had not been there the day before, this did several cause boats including ours to completely capsize, however there was plenty of staff around helping everyone out the water and making sure everyone was safe! The fruit provided was great, and the meal after the rafting was also good. There was also the option to purchase photos after the tour. Would recommend!
Absolutely top notch experience. We had a very anxious 13 year old and we were smartly paired off with raft guide Fabricio. He’s really good and super funny. He had us all belly laughing so it was hard to be anxious. We saw many people fall out but our guide gave such great instructions (between jokes and antics) we never came even close to falling and we even helped retrieve paddles a few times. We are still talking about how it has been one of favorite things if not most favorite of the trip so far!
This was our best excursion in La Fortuna. Roberto made it such a fun experience for my husband and I.
