Tijdens deze kleine groepsreis combineren we prachtige landschappen en de historische plekken Kinderdijk en Delft. Onze ervaren gidsen Eva en Sarah zijn bekwame chauffeurs en geweldige gastheren! Eerst bezoeken we UNESCO werelderfgoed Kinderdijk, met zijn 19 molens die het land eeuwenlang droog houden! Een boottocht en bezoek aan de molens en het gemaal is inbegrepen. We gaan verder naar het pittoreske Delft, waar de beroemde Royal Delft Blue porseleinfabriek staat! We bezoeken eerst het stadje met zijn grachten en gevels. Er zal tijd zijn om de "nieuwe" en de "oude" kerken te bezoeken, met de graven van Willem van Oranje en vele andere royalty's. Of het Vermeer Centrum, gewijd aan de beroemde schilder Johannes Vermeer. Rond het marktplein en het beroemde stadhuis is er tijd voor lunch. Voordat we teruggaan naar Amsterdam bezoeken we de Royal Delft china factory en flagship store, met voldoende tijd om mooie souvenirs te kopen!

Onze eerste stop van de dag is bij de unieke UNESCO-werelderfgoedmolens van Kinderdijk. Een systeem van windmolens en pompen zuigt al eeuwenlang het water uit de polderbodem de rivier in. In de loop der jaren werden de systemen verbeterd, waarbij menselijk verstand, technologie en natuur werden gecombineerd om samen te werken om onze voeten droog te houden, al meer dan 700 jaar! Bewonder de 19 originele windmolens in hun prachtige historische omgeving. Je kunt een werkende molen betreden om de persoonlijke verhalen van de molenaars te ontdekken en/of een rondvaart maken voor een beter zicht vanaf het water!
De bezienswaardigheden van Delft, met zijn grachten, gevels en torens, zijn buitengewoon schilderachtig. Het stadje is een stuk kleiner dan Amsterdam, maar net zo mooi (en vooral: met minder toeristen). Delft is de thuisbasis van het wereldberoemde Delfts Blauw aardewerk en een bezoek aan de fabriek, waar u het proces van het maken van het prachtige aardewerk kunt zien, is inbegrepen. Daarna heeft u de tijd om op eigen gelegenheid of met onze ervaren gids het stadscentrum te verkennen, precies zoals u dat wilt. Bekijk de beroemde kerken en het marktplein, de thuisbasis van Vermeer. Omdat het uw dagje uit is, kunnen wij de rondreis geheel op uw wensen afstemmen. In Delft is er ook tijd om te lunchen.
We bezoeken de fabriek en flagshipstore van het beroemde koninklijke Delftse porselein. Zie de schilders aan het werk en genoeg tijd om uw kostbare souvenirs voor thuis te kopen!

This was such a fun tour. We loved seeing the windmills and climbing inside one. The town of Delft and the museum was charming.
If you want to see authentic windmills, this is the place you want to be. This small group tour offers you a way to tour this incredible UNESCO Heritage site in a relaxed environment pretty much set at your own pace. Our tour guide was very informative with content and entertained all our questions. The historic area of the city of Delft is idyllic with shops and restaurants for every flavor.

I would highly recommend this trip. Eva the tour guide is simply amazing. Full of knowledge and great humor. She timed all site seeing events perfectly to avoid the large groups. The group had so much fun. She was even gracious enough to drop us back at hotel. I lucked out finding this trip.

Extremely personal tour with very friendly and knowledgeable guide. As I had also left my parker at home, she accommodated me with one of her own jackets. Even down to the simple things like offering snacks and drinks on the ride home after the tour was a lovely touch. We would definitely recommend this small, personalized tour especially for anyone who had been disillusioned with previous experiences with other tour operators.

We actually did 2 tours with Sarah and Ava (hope i spelled your name correct). Both guides were vert knowledgeable and friendly. The tours were great as we were a small group and were able to move around very quickly and efficiently.

My husband and I just LOVED this trip with Eva. She was so knowledgeable, accommodating, and down to earth. The windmills were beautiful and fascinating. We loved the charming city of Delft.
