Muckross House staat in het midden van een dicht bebost gebied van de 10.000 hectare grote Muckross Demesne. Het landhuis werd gebouwd in 1843 en werd ontworpen door William Burns. Het terrein van het huis bestaat uit goed aangelegde bloementuinen, rotspartijen, struiken en grasvelden die zich uitstrekken tot grasland, statige dennenbossen en oever van het meer. De traditionele boerderijen brengen je terug naar een tijd in Ierland, toen het gezinsleven veel eenvoudiger was.
Ross Castle staat aan de oostelijke oever van Lough Lein, waar het een indrukwekkende positie inneemt. Het kasteel is zeer oud, vermoedelijk gebouwd in de 15e eeuw. Een wenteltrap van steen leidt naar de top, van waaruit een prachtig panorama kan worden bekeken.
St. Mary's Cathedral is ontworpen door A. W. N. Pugin (1812-1852). De eerste steen werd in 1842 gelegd en de werkzaamheden aan het gebouw begonnen en gingen door gedurende de hongersnoodjaren. In 1853 waren veel daklozen gehuisvest in de voltooide gangpaden van de kerk en onder de "Griffiths Valuation Act", die in dat jaar ontstond, werd de kerk geclassificeerd als een hulpwerkhuis.
Aghadoe, biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de meren en bergen. Hier zijn de ruïnes van de oude kerk te zien, die sporen van twee periodes draagt, algemeen aangenomen als de zevende en twaalfde eeuw.
Ladies View kreeg zijn naam tijdens het bezoek van koningin Victoria aan Ierland in 1861. Ladies View biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de valleien, meren en heuvels, waaronder de Black Valley, de Upper en Middle Lakes, McGillicuddy Reeks en de Gap of Dunloe. Dit is de perfecte plek om foto's te maken, de site bevat ook Ladies View Café.
De waterval van Torc ligt op ongeveer 100 m van de rand van de klif tot de rivierbedding en wordt door velen bewonderd met ontzag. De berg, rijk aan bomen, struiken en vegetatie, bevat de beroemde Torc-waterval, veroorzaakt door de snelle bocht ten westen van de rivier de Torc, en stroomt langs de bergwand in een grote brullende stroom, en wervelt in een snel stromende stroom door grote rotsen en keien, weer terugkerend naar zijn normale rivierformatie, kronkelend naar het Muckross Lake.
Killarney National Park was het eerste nationale park in Ierland, gecreëerd toen Muckross Estate in 1932 werd geschonken aan de Irish Free State. Het park omvat meer dan 102,89 km2 aan gevarieerde ecologie, waaronder de meren van Killarney, eiken- en taxusbossen van internationaal belang, en bergtoppen. Het heeft de enige kudde herten op het vasteland van Ierland en de meest uitgebreide dekking van inheems bos die nog in Ierland is. Het park werd in 1981 uitgeroepen tot UNESCO-biosfeerreservaat.

Our driver/guide Tony was great. He adjusted our itinerary to ensure we were able to make the most of our day despite afternoon showers. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and experiences exploring all the National park sites and were able to create amazing memories as well as capture pictures to commemorate our time.
Mr. William was an excellent representative of Kerry Taxi Tours. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. We had the best time and plan to come back with more relatives. I would highly recommend this company and this tour.
Billy was our tour guide and he knocked it out of the park! We didn't have cooperating weather in the morning and he adjusted the tour to ensure we had a great experience regardless. We still saw the sites listed which we appreciated! He also came prepared with extra water, large umbrellas, binoculars, and great knowledge! He also stopped at multiple sites to get breathtaking sites along the way we wouldn't have seen without his expertise. He even noticed a sheep dog demonstration happening close by and he stopped so we could see it which was fantastic! He really put thought and effort in this tour so we could have a wonderful experience! Highly recommend!!

this tour was for my in-laws. the tour operator Bill was amazing, there was a last minute change to the pick up site that he was able to accommodate as well as providing valuable insight to the locations listed. We were never picked up waited more than 1 hour and was told the tour was overbooked we called a Taxi and made our own day calling a taxi to go to each destination. The service rep I spoke with was very rude and had no concern of our situation.
Hi, In response to your review there are a number of false claims made , to deal with your last claim first I spoke with you and was not rude, in fact you forgot to mention that I advised you as to the steps you needed to take to receive a full refund which I can see from booking agent account you did receive a full refund , interesting that you should omit this fact. The morning I spoke to you I pointed out to you that we had never accepted you booking knowing that we were fully booked for that week, this information was sent to your booking agent immediately on receipt of your form, this information was also sent to you directly by text and voice mail to the telephone number you provided on your form ,it was also sent to you by email through the facility provided on the booking agent web site, I have once again read this email which stated we were not accepting this booking "due to circumstances beyond our control" at no time mentioning the word "overbooked "used in fact the tour you booked was a private tour as are all our tours, we do not cater for mixed group tours making it impossible to overbook a tour I am sorry if you had a poor experience but can state beyond and doubt that it was not of our making and I am happy in the knowledge that we provide a first class private tour service. I'm so glad that we did a tour rather than trying to navigate the roads ourselves. Brian was a fantastic tour guide and filled us in on so much great history that we would not have known otherwise. Some of the roads are pretty narrow and windy as well, so having someone else drive meant that we could all enjoy the scenery.
