An excellent experience with Altezza. When my case wasn’t delivered after the flight, Altezza leant me all the kit I needed to complete the trek until my bag arrived. All free of charge. This summed up their professionalism, generosity and willingness to provide the best chance of success to their clients. Guides were amazing, porters superhuman and the office always available and helpful. Thoroughly recommend Altezza!

I went alone, nervous that I would be lonely or unable to finish the climb. The porters and guides that came with me were of the most excellent and caring and communal people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I was supposed to be on a 7 day Umbwe route but ended up switching the itinerary around which was so easy thanks to Altezza’s quick coordination. The pace was perfect, the food was excellent (thank you, kibuchi), and I could not have been luckier with the weather. I learned so much and highly, highly, recommend Altezza for booking Kilimanjaro. The road was steep, but overwhelmingly rewarding!!!

All the 5 star reviews you can read here are all spot on. Altezza is top notch from the moment of first contact to Uhuru Peak. What made this trip truly unforgettable and special were the people who guided us during our hike to the top. The team led by the experienced guide Bosco is extremely professional and determined to make it a fantastic week. We spent most of the hours on the mountain with one of the best guides in the region, Adam Lauwo. With his knowledge, cheerfulness and humor, not a single hour was boring. The rest of the team from porter, cook, waiter to summit assistants should not remain unnamed. Everyone was equally valuable to us in achieving the ultimate goal. These people added color to our journey and their 'Hakuna Matata' mentality brought us to the top of Africa.

The Altezza team exceeded our expectations in pretty much every area. The guides Shabani, Julius and Peter were very helpful and supportive. They understood our strengths and weakness well. Summit day was a success due to these three folks. I would also like to call out Maturo and Heaven for the unflinching positive attitude throughout. Kiara’s, the chef, cooking was excellent as well.

We had a wonderful time climbing Kilimanjaro with Altezza. Our crew: Bosco, John, Edward, Lucas, Arone, and all the rest, were friendly and helpful. The climb was tough but doalbe, and the whole time we felt secure that our team was there for us if we needed anything. I highly recommend.

An incredible trip to remember. I highly recommend Altezza. Our amazing mountain guides: Elia, is the best of the best - he made me feel safe, motivated and enlightened the group with so much knowledge of Kilimanjaro and Tanzania. Thomas, was an absolute star throughout, one of the kindest people on the mountain. The group of porters, did more than cater and assist us, they took care of everything, even the small details which made the trip all the more comfortable. We were a family for a week, and I already miss them all. In particular, Valency and Athumani were exceptional and I highly recommend. I hope Valency becomes a guide one day!! I am so glad I chose Altezza!!! I couldn’t be more thankful and grateful. I rarely leave a review but the service was truly EXCEPTIONAL!!!

It was a unique experience. Perfect organisation. Elia was our senior guide, always available to meet our needs. Thomas the junior guide was very kind and helpful. The big day of the pick trail was exhausting and I can say that without them I would never have made it! All the staff the porters were exceptional. William's cooking was worthy of a 5 star hotel. I don't know how but he managed to make pizza at 4000 metres in a tent!! Halfway through the trails they served a snack of hot tea and even set up a table and chairs! Thank you very much to everyone. I met wonderful people and I recommend Altezza for efficiency, transparency

I have to say i was amazed by Altezza and ho well organized they are. And tho so not simply from my perspective, but also comparing to all the companies and people you see around you in the various camps. First of, their guides (Exaud and Joseph) were amazing in making feel us safe at all time, and in having the patience of dealing with us and trying to slow us down to avoid altitude sickness when we wanted to hike at our own pace. The rest of the crew, cook Justine, waiter Rama and Paul the camp master in particular were very friendly and organized. Perhaps the best thing about Altezza is they put your safety first, monitoring your vitals and oxygen twice a day, bringing 3 oxygen tanks to the summit in case, all samll attentions that I didn't necessarily see all around the camps for other people. Altezza is extremely well organized, and you really feel they take care of their own crew as well. Thanks for an amazing experience!
