Our experience was excellent, and we truly enjoyed every day of our journey. The entire Altezza team was outstanding, everyone was polite, kind, and made us feel very welcome. The food was great, and we felt well cared for throughout the trip. Polite, Ela, and Gibson were especially friendly, professional, and extremely experienced. Their support and encouragement played a big role in making our trek successful and enjoyable. One suggestion I would offer is to consider performing a full set of vital signs during the daily health checks. In addition to oxygen saturation and pulse, checking blood pressure and temperature could provide a more complete assessment of each climber’s health and help identify potential issues earlier. Overall, you have an exceptional team, and we are very grateful for the wonderful experience. Thank you for helping make this journey so memorable.

I did the Kilimanjaro expedition from 3-8 May via Marangu route - overall, it was a great experience and with memories that will last a lifetime. The organisation of the trip was seamless and Altezza’s customer support (Nadia) was extremely responsive and helpful. What blew me away was the dedication of our guides and porters to providing the best experience possible. Led by the assured leadership of Elia, Kassim and Amos, I always felt reassured and safe and trusted their judgement. Each of them played a key role in my journey - Elia for his organisation, encouragement and care, Kassim for making sure I got to the bottom of Kibo when I was struggling with the altitude and fatigue, and Amos for sharing his energy and knowledge of Kilimanjaro. Special mentions to Omari who led our acclimatisation trek confidently, Emmanuel who was always right on time with waking us up and kindly serving our meals, Petar for the wonderful meals cooked under such challenging conditions and Vincent for tirelessly helping us up the summit. It was great experience for me with beautiful views and nature around. Very well organised and prepared with the beautiful view of the nature. I have been there inlow season and weather was still great less people comfort. We had great support from guides pots, cookers washers all the members were helpful. Absolutely brilliant experience climbing Kilimanjaro with Altezza. My experience with Altezza was wonderful! They are truly the best tour operator. From the moment you decide to go with Altezaa till you get back home, everything was exceptional! I did my 1-day safari to Tarangire Park and learned so much about animals! I did not expect it to be sooo good. My first safari ever. My Kilimanjaro hike was challenging but enjoyable and unforgettable. Fantastic views from the top! I met so many great people in my group. I would highly recommend Altezza Travel for climbing Kilimanjaro and doing safaris! The communication with the company was amazing from my first enquiry. The staff were super helpful gave very detailed replied and replied quickly! Upon arrival we were picked up and the airport and taken to the most beautiful hotel. We stayed there the night before our 6 day expedition as well as the night of our return. We did the 6 day marangu route, with the most amazing team, due to it being rain season my team was very small with only 4 participants and 13 Altezza team members. Francis and Joshua, our guides, were very kind, caring, considerate of group needs and most of all friendly and informative! The rest of the team to help with our expedition were very friendly and always smiling, happy to chat. When we arrived at marangu gate, the guides took care of all park admission fees and forms. Altezza travel really makes your trip memorable and an experience you will never forget. They made the 6 day trip unforgettable.

We booked a 6-day trip with Altezza Travel to take us to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. It was based on the recommendation of a friend and her recommendation (thank you Jasmine) was spot-on. We were a group of 6 -- I'm 64 and my kids and their friends are between 28-30. We also had 3 individuals (not related) join our group and they were ages 21 - 65. We bonded over the shared experience and all summited on Day 5. I selected the 6 day Marangu Route because it has a high success ratio (more than the 5-day climbs) and we could stay in huts. We all agreed that was a great decision. The huts have bunk beds and are well-built. We had freezing rain and snow on a couple of the days, so I was glad to have the shelter of a hut. Some of our group brought their own sleeping bags; I rented from Altezza. Altezza was awesome to work with. Proactive on arranging the details of our trip. Always courteous, prompt to respond, and helpful. When we arrived, our bags did not (delayed by one day) and Altezza was reassuring that they would take care of us no matter if our bags made it our not. We had booked a buffer day and I'm glad we did. Our bags were delivered to the hotel (by KLM Airlines) at 4:30 am on the day our climb started, so everything worked out. The guides are amazing -- we had 4 plus 36 porters for our trip. They all speak excellent English and are focused on our success and comfort. Each morning they would wake us up with our coffee or tea order and would help us with the details of packing and hiking to the next, higher, hut. The food is delicious and with the energy you are expending plus the weather, it's important to get enough calories in. On summit day, there is one guide per person so we were a group of 9 climbers and 9 guides. We all summitted -- 3 or 4 had some altitude sickness (I puked at the summit) but it was all manageable and closely monitored. Diamox is not a suggestions -- you need to have it. There are two medical checks per day and safety is always at the forefront. Everyone worked out and trained for this expedition and in the end, we all had different experiences based on our health, body weight and fitness levels. Anyone with intention and focus can summit Mt. Kilimanjaro -- it's as much a mental task as a physical task. I highly recommend Altezza Travel. Thank you to our guides Victor, Emmanuel, Nemma, and Jonas. True professionals. Coming down off the mountain is also tricky and I thank Jonas and Novartis for making sure every step I took was safe. The hotel accomodations arranged (Aisha Machame hotel) by Altezza before and after our trek were wonderful -- very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. If you are thinking about doing it -- do it! And if you want to go with the best, choose Altezza Travel.

Altezza organization, crew, atmoshpere and professionalizm is just out of this world. Worth every price! All information about the trip was provided by the manager way before the date. Provided accommodation and transportation was just perfect (as well as the help with getting the right conncecting flights). The trip was wonderful with friendly and very experienced guides (Stanford and Gama) as well as the rest of the crew who were always willing to help. We never thought about the safety aspect since the crew had it all under control. Even the camp experience was top tier thanks to the crew. Thank you Altezza, this was truely a pleasure!

What started out as a solo trip, ended with family bonds. There is no words to describe the experience we had. But ill give it a go... The team of Altezza had such an amazing vibe. Everyone was helpful and kind. Making the entire trip a life changing experience! From the cooks who specially brought me chilli with every meal to the porters who carried our bags and made sure we were safe and surrounded with love and support. I will not only mention Felix but all of the porters. We danced, laughed and adventured together through the days filled with the best food 😋 by the cooks. Joshua who was the head guide ensure that each of us were individually seen too in the most challenging time of the summit and every moment before that too. He taught me about the fauna and flora of the mountain and guided me through a very challenging time. He was assisted by Imran, Mongi, Munier, Adam. Not too mention the lady porters. I am in awe of their strength !!! Wow ... At meal times we were treated with the original Nutella and Cadbury chocolate milk which made the cold evenings bliss... one of our group was so smitten with the Nutella, she even summited with the new tub and we used it to celebrate after. I speak on behalf of my group knowing full well that we all agree. THIS WAS THE BEST GROUP TRIP EVER!!!! we all stood together as one living up to the daily mantra of one team one dream!!! Hakuna Matata ❤️ I have to personally commend Imran for ensuring my safe summit or shall I rather say my summit at all... hehehehe And then a safe return to ground by skiing along with me and Phim on the way down. My only suggestion would be lower steps at the huts for the short people (the short people is me) and normal toilets... because hahahahha you know ! 👅 Thank you Altezza for the amazing experience. Celebrated our 10-year anniversary and not sure how to top it after this adventure! Incredible experience from booking to checking in and throughout the climb from gate to summit and back. Walked away with the most rewarding experience and made 25 new friends in the process.
