If you're visiting Kigali and need reliable transport or a great guide, Bernard should be your go-to - he was fantastic from start to finish! Bernard handled my airport transfers - keeping me informed on his location and made the entire process super easy. Beyond the transportation, I asked if he could take me to a few markets after I’d checked in at my hotel and he went above and beyond. Not only did Bernard accompany me around the markets, he showed me some of the town, sharing info about the area and helping me feel safe and comfortable. He even helped me negotiate for the best prices at the markets! His friendly demeanor, excellent communication and great local knowledge made the experience unforgettable. If you're in Kigali, I wholeheartedly recommend contacting Bernard. I know I will next time I visit!
I waited at the airport for pick up but he never showed. I had to pay for a taxi. The next day he contacted me and offered me a refund and a free ride back to the airport when I was leaving. To date I have not received my refund.
