Vanuit Amsterdam ontmoet je je Gids om naar de Zaanse Schans te rijden, een klein dorpje vol windmolens, traditionele ambachten en groene houten huizen. Hier bezoekt u een klompendemonstratie, een kaasboerderij voor uitleg en om wat kaas te proeven en een werkende industriële windmolen. Na uw rondleiding op de Zaanse Schans gaat u genieten van een typisch Nederlandse lunch in een lokaal restaurant voordat u richting Keukenhof Bloementuinen gaat. Hier vind je 800 varianten van tulpen in bloei en heb je alle tijd om deze tuinen te verkennen. Na afloop word je na een volle dag vol spanning weer teruggebracht naar Amsterdam.

Fabulous. We have used Viator many times on our European vacations. We’ve had much luck with the company. This particular tour was absolutely the best one for sure. Our Tour Guide‘s name was Sharon, and she was from one of the villages that we visited, where the windmills and the cheese factory were. Be sure to request her. We were picked up at 8:30 as requested and she was a little bit early which I love. It was about a 30 minute drive to the gardens where she explained to us on the way about the gardens and where to enter and what to do. She dropped us off and told us we would meet back in about two hours. After that, she took us to our lunch, which was also a really nice place. And the food was excellent. After that, we went on to visit the windmills. The windmills and the cheese factory are in the same village where she grew up and currently lives. So she really is an expert on the area. When you book this tour, you think oh that’s a long day, but it seemed like it went by just like that. It was our first day in Amsterdam and I hope the rest of our days are just as perfect as this one was. Thank you so much, Sharon we so appreciate it.

Our guide was Kerewin. She was incredible - knowledgeable, kind, humble, personable, and so enagaing. She was with us every step of the way through Zaanse Shans (clog making, cheese making/tasting, tour of De Kit Windmill, and lunch at an authentic Dutch restaurant on the way to Keukenhof Gardens). She was never rushed and let us dictate the pace. She let us tour the gardens on our own to soak in the beauty at our own pace. Zaanse Shans and Keukenhof far exceeded our expectations. Keukenhof Gardens was breathtaking! The tulips were beaitiful and the whole presentation/property was incredible. We thought we might be too early for tulips (April 4th), but we were not. There was 6 of us in our group and we thoroughly enjoyed having this private tour that picked us up at our hotel. A perfect day!!!
