Drie plaatsen op één dag * Kbal Spean: 1,5 km bergop wandelen om rivierbeddingen uit de 9e eeuw van 1000 Shiva Linga en andere belangrijke hindoe-heren te zien * Banteay Srei-tempel: men gelooft dat deze tempel werd gebouwd door vrouwen omdat het zandsteen werd gebruikt om deze tempel te bouwen, een roze kleur heeft, klein van formaat en decoratie is zeer ingewikkeld. * Banteay Samre-tempel: een van de meest bewaarde tempel uit de late 12e eeuw en de vredige tempel op de site van Angkor.

We zullen je ophalen om deze tour te beginnen na het ontbijt om 8 uur. We beginnen deze tour met Kbal Spean, ongeveer 45 km van Siem Reap City. Deze tour wordt aanbevolen aan bezoekers die fit zijn, het is een heuvel op en neer wandelen. Hier ziet u de "Rivier van een 1000 Lingas", een verzameling oude steensnijwerken en ontelbare lingums. Deze fallische symbolen van Shiva zijn te vinden in en rond de rivierbedding. Er zijn ook gravures van de andere goden waaronder Vishnu, Brahma, Lakshmi.
We zullen dan naar Banteay Srei gaan, die in het Engels de 'Citadel van de vrouw' wordt genoemd. Men gelooft dat het houtsnijwerk zo ingewikkeld is dat ze alleen door de delicate handen van vrouwen zijn gesneden. Deze prachtige tempel is een must voor iedereen die geïnteresseerd is in het leren van de fascinerende geschiedenis van het Khmer-volk. In plaats daarvan werd de tempel van Banteay Srey gebouwd tijdens het bewind van twee koningen Rajendravarman II en Jayavarman V. De drie belangrijkste heiligdommen van het bouwwerk waren opgedragen aan Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu en Lord Brahma.
Eindelijk gaan we naar Banteay Samre. Dit is een 12e-eeuwse hindoetempel die is gebouwd in de stijl van Angkor Wat. Banteay Samre is een geweldige tempel om te bezoeken, omdat het goed af is van het toeristische pad en u in relatieve rust kunt genieten van deze prachtige tempel in vergelijking met het grote aantal toeristen dat elke dag Angkor Wat bezoekt.

Excellent tour. Went to Banteay Srei and Kbal Spean in the morning before having lunch. Went to Banteay Samre in the afternoon. Tour guide very good.

This is an amazing tour. Chopin Sophat was our tour guide and Dinna was our driver. They are the best of our 6 day travel in Cambodia. Sophat is very knowledgeable on nearly all the subjects we were interested, including the history, the culture, the modern day life’s, the nature and all kinds of things in Cambodia, and not just limited to where we went. Khai Spean is very unique, which you cannot find in other parts of Siem Reap. Bandeay Srei is one of the most significant temples. Banteay Samre is another beautiful temple to see. They both have taken really good care of us. The cold water and lemongrass fragranced cold towel after each site and hiking was very refreshing. They drove with safety and cautions. We were comfortable all the way. We highly recommend this tour.

Nice hike up to the waterfall over rocky paths with some flat and a little elevation. The waterfall is really nice to see. Banteay Srei is fantastic, with very nice carvings and Banteay Samre was very pretty and special. It was quieter than many of the other ruins. The tour guide was helpful and good humored and told some interesting stories about life in Cambodia.

The walk to the site was easy going. The mix of the forest, the water, the carvings, the river, the waterfall, and picnicking locals charmed us all. A good complement to Angkor.
