Andres provided a very special experience. We heard history, learned about the channel and the water, all while paddling. There were turtles basking on the branches, "caves" to paddle through-created by structures above the water, and a joy of being on the water. Seville has life on the water with sculling, kayaking and even children jumping off the dock into the water. Lovely memories were made!
Andres provided us an amazing and fun tour. Beautiful views, great experience learning about the history, and an excellent workout!
Constanza was a fantastic guide! This was such a fun way to experience the city and get outside to do something different.
I really enjoyed this tour. My guide, Constanza, was awesome - very knowledgeable, kind, energetic and patient and able to easily adapt the tour to each person’s needs/abilities. It felt great to get out on the water, get a bit of exercise and appreciate the city from a different perspective along with the different rowing teams that clearly enjoy the river while getting some city history along the way!
Unique and fun way to explore Seville and see a different side of this beautiful city. We were a bit concerned that we would be cold as it was November, but our guide Sarah kept us entertained with stories about this historically important city, and the time flew by! Definitely recommend!
Hola Tara, it was great to have you on the Kayak Tour in Seville - it is always perfect as it stops the cold and calms the heat! Thanks for joining Not Just a Tourist!
We took a kayak tour up and down the Guadalquivir with Sarah as our guide. Neither of us had much experience kayaking but Sarah taught us the basics and we headed out. We ended up making it all the way down to La Puenta de las Delicias (though Sarah did say that the distance traveled depends on the visitors) and then back to the sailing club. Along the way, Sarah shared her knowledge of landmarks and history of Seville and we had a fun time chatting with her! I would definitely recommend wearing light clothing that dries quickly - the day we left was on the colder side but sunny and we worked up a sweat. Sarah went barefoot in the kayak, which we wish we had done. Our shoes and lower halves were pretty wet by the time we got back. This was a great way to experience Seville and we would definitely do another trip with Not Just A Tourist again.
Hola Girls! So glad you enjoyed it, and hope you dried off and found a nice hotel!! The Kayak Tour in Seville was a lot of fun with you. Welcome back to Seville and Not Just a Tourist any time and keep kayaking :)
We had a fantastic time with Filippo, our guide, who knew all about the history of the sights along the river and flavored the info with his own perceptions which we thoroughly enjoyed. We were initially concerned we would have difficulty finding the location (reviews of other kayak rental facilities warned readers) but it was super easy. Filippo was waiting for us when we arrived, showed us the facilities and off we went. It was great to hear his enthusiastic comments about Sevilla and suggestions for other things to see. We were very pleased with our lovely kayaking morning on the Guadalquivir.

Awesome great trip! We had a beautiful day and it was our tour guide Jose who really made this trip sharing the history and knowledge of Seville. We had lunch with him after and we really enjoyed getting to know him and his lifestyle in Seville.
