Tijdens Kaunas Old Town tour wordt u geïntroduceerd in de rijke geschiedenis en cultuur van een van de oudste steden in Litouwen. Kaunas Old Town is vol met prachtige verschillende architectonische stijlen gebouwen van XIV tot XVIII leeftijden. Het is erg gezellig en rustige plek om te ontspannen en een van de meest geweldige plekken in heel Litouwen te verkennen. Tour duurt 1 - 1,5 uur. Als uw groep is maximaal 4 personen kunt u ook kiezen Kaunas IX Fort Museum als extra tour. Tijdens het boekingsproces zal ik u vragen naar deze optie en zal ik uitleggen hoe het zou werken. Het is beschikbaar voor maximaal 4 personen, omdat we naar IX Fort Musuem met mijn auto zou gaan.

Middeleeuws gebouw, dat de stad verdedigde tegen kruisvaarders.

"De langste brug" ter wereld. Voordat je deze brug bereikt, zul je ook het Thunder-huis en de Vytautas-kerk zien.

Very interesting and informative tour that gives a timeline of events throughout the centuries on the history of Kaunas and Lithuania and Eastern Europe more broadly. Karolis was my tour guide - he was friendly and engaging. Would recommend for sure.
There are times the fort is not opened. But the guide did walk us through the town and down by the river and showed us the church and the Thunder house
It is a beautiful city, very clean and tidy. There are very well maintained gardens. The inhabitants are quiet, kind and helpful. Interesting the old town which is kept as a jewel.
Very informative tour, we learnt lots and all our questions were answered. We saw all the sights, the tour guide was excellent.
Karolis is an expert guide, who has a lot of knowledge to share about the old town of Kaunas, and Lithuania in general! We didn't visit the museum as it was closed, but Karolis was able to impart important details pertaining to its historical significance. Very good guide who was fluent in English. Small old town but saw many churches and the river where he told us about a past flood and the history of the "longest" bridge in the world.
My guide, Karolis, was very informative and definitely helped to explain the history and sites in Kaunas much better than the rather haphazard displays in the town hall museum that I had visited one day earlier. The tour proceeded at a comfortable pace and covered the main locations in the old town area. I would definitely recommend this tour as an introduction to the old town of Kaunas.
Great train journey from Villnius through local villages. The fort and park area by the confluence of 2 rivers. Lots of statues/sculptures in town. Good choice of cafes and restaurants.
