Met de Kaudulla National Park Safari kunt u de wilde fauna van Sri Lanka in hun natuurlijke habitats zien. Reis langs de oevers van Kaudulla tank om kuddes olifanten te zien komen voor water. Luister naar de roep van vreemde tropische vogels als je probeert om ze te identificeren. Probeer een glimp op te vangen van de albino-asherten die uniek zouden zijn voor dit park in Sri Lanka. Vele van dergelijke spannende avonturen wachten!

De safari neemt je mee op een korte gamedrive door de wildernis van Kaudulla. Het park staat bekend om zijn waarnemingen van olifanten, vooral tegen het einde van het droge seizoen in september. De Kaudulla-tank herbergt een aantal vogels en andere dieren in het wild, de belangrijkste bron van zoet water in de omgeving. Je reist in een ruig terrein (4WD) game-voertuig. Het Kaudulla National Park, opgericht in 2002, vormt de Kaudulla-Minneriya Jungle-corridor in de buurt van Trincomalee. Het strekt zich uit over 6900 hectare ruimte en omvat veel droge groenblijvende bossen, verlaten landbouwgronden en graslandzones. De ecosystemen van het park draaien voornamelijk rond de Kaudulla Tank, een van de oude watertanks gebouwd door koning Mahasena in de 3e eeuw na Christus. Nu heeft het park zo'n 24 soorten zoogdieren, 25 soorten reptielen, 26 soorten vissen en meer dan 160 soorten vogels die het heiligdom bewonen, naast andere insecten en levende wezens.

We really liked the safari, the driver was professional, we saw many elephants and other animals. I recommend this.
I really enjoyed the safari. Saw many elephants, crocodiles and pelicans and the guide was very informative and friendly. Nice to see the animals in their natural habitat. Thanks.

The reserve actually consists of 3 parks. Our driver's name was Pliant. He showed us eagles, monkeys, many colored birds and an elephant in the jungle washing. However, the herds of elephants did not ... Then we suddenly noticed a lonely male. Pliant was approaching 20 meters. In the distance we saw another male at the lake water buffalo, but not the hundreds of elephants that were mentioned. Pliant really went out of his way to spot elephants. We stood still with the jeep (alone) and then suddenly dozens of elephants appeared from the bushes. She stood 10 meters from our jeep and then walked further to the lake. This has been one of the most beautiful moments of my travels!!!! So beautiful with all those little ones. Meanwhile, a lot of jeeps had suddenly arrived. When we left the reserve, they were really queuing (traffic jam!!!) to enter the reserve. I wouldn't have liked that.
Great afternoon. Saw150 elephants close up. Driver was very good. Would recommend this as a great activity.

I am delighted to say that you offer one of the best service during my visit to Sri Lanka. The driver Sumit was good, our communication per WhatsApp was very quick and comfortable. Payment through the web per Pay pal was also very convenient. We liked safari very much and met more than 50 elephants + other animals and birds. We also did appreciate advice from the company to visit Kaudulla Park rather than Minneriya because there were more elephants on that specific day (even though Kaudulla was 10$ cheaper). The driver Sumit even called us in 2 hours after we said goodbye in Habarana and asked how did we get to the hotel. It was very nice !

Very much enjoyed our safari with Lakpura LLC! They gave us great advice as to which park to visit for the highest chances of seeing elephants - and we saw hundreds! Our driver was professional and on time, and we so loved bouncing around with the roof down on our safari vehicle. This is a must for anyone wanting to get close to wild elephants in Sri Lanka!
Although the gathering was already over, we called Lakpura to ask if it is still possible to see elephants. They gave us advice to what park to go and at what time. And indeed, we still saw 70 elephants! The driver was kind and picked us up from our hotel. He was a very good driver and had respect for the elephants by keeping a proper distance. He also had some interesting facts to tell about the elephants. I would definetely recomend their service. Thank you for the great experience.
