We had a fantastic tour of the Maria Louisa park, the former Jewish quarter, the Seville Cathedral and to the top of the Giralda. Sofia was so knowledgeable and engaging, such a warm helpful person who went out of her way to also point out local hidden things along our walk. We did two tours with Sofia - the Cathedral and the Alcazar. They were both excellent. Sofia was interesting and engaging and had a wealth of knowledge about the history. For the cathedral tour she arrived really early so that she could get the first spot in line so we would have the best experience in spite of the crowds.

Sofia was such a wonderful and accommodating guide! We are a family of 5 from the Philippines, and I had contacted her quite last minute — about a week before our arrival. Still, she did her best to find time for us in her schedule as well as make recommendations for the times she wasn’t free. I really appreciated the communication and tips in the days leading up to our tour. The cathedral was stunning and my family and I are so glad we chose Sofia to guide us through it. She was very knowledgeable and shared information in detail, but also gave us ample time to pause and appreciate the cathedral on our own. All the while, making the tour feel personal as she answered our questions and shared her experiences in Seville. I would also like to commend Sofia’s safety precaution of masking up — especially since the holidays are busy and many people get sick. We felt her concern for us, her clients, and her own circle of people. I think this is a valuable trait in a guide since they encounter people on a regular basis whose backgrounds — health or otherwise — all differ. As a bonus, at my mother’s request, Sofia brought us to a shop nearby with a beautiful selection of mantones de Manila or Manila Shawls, and abanicos. This was a very short but special visit to Sevilla, with many thanks to Sofia’s assistance. We definitely would love to visit again — and for longer, and would gladly get Sofia as a guide again.
