I did a food tour in Entebbe with Arthur, WOW, make sure to bring an appetite. We tried so much food, including grasshoppers at the end!! (They’re not so bad 😂). Had a great time!
I got to learn a lot about the variety of foods in Uganda. Tasting all the local foods in Uganda was my favorite part of the tour
The food tour brought as to a local market where we tried a mango and a watermelon which is sad because there are so many different fruits to try and explore. Afterwards we had a Rolex first on the street and then in a restaurant. They were nice but you don‘t have to go on a tour to try a Rolex since you can eat them at an place on town. Then we went to a restaurant to eat a typical dish, and then to another restaurant to eat piece of meat. In general the tour wasn‘t very informative, i would have loved to hear more about the tradition and culture the food is based in. You had to ask many questions in order to hear any details. Also the tour was way too long (11-4.30) because the distances between the places were too big, also we also just waited and waited at many places in order to go on. The girl was very nice though, and the food was of good quality. But nothing you could not experience going once or twice to an African restaurant 👌🏼
Thanks for the detailed and valuable feedback. We will take this on board and make efforts to improve the experience; especially on providing information, reducing the distances and finding more things to try in the markets and unique venues.
