Kisenyi Slum is een van de zes drukbevolkte dorpen in het midden van Kampala City! Het is in de volksmond bekend als een thuis voor vele vele vluchtelingen uit verschillende landen zoals Somalië, D.R.C, Ethiopië en Zuid-Soedan. Het is een erg drukke omgeving en het geeft een zeer live-ervaring aan onze klanten, omdat ze door het dorp kunnen lopen terwijl ze een aantal aardige mensen hier aanmoedigen die druk bezig zijn met hun werk.
Dit is een grote lokale markt waar meer dan 2000 verkopers werkzaam zijn in tweedehands goederen zoals kleding, schoenen enz. Het is een eyeopener voor onze klanten
Dit is het grootste belastingpark in Oeganda, waar de meeste openbare taxi's in Kampala hun klanten ophalen en afzetten. Deze taxi's nemen verschillende richtingen in. Het is daarom heel verbazingwekkend om te bezoeken en te ervaren hoe reizigers de respectieve taxi's identificeren die hun respectieve richtingen volgen
Dit is een metaalvrij gebouw met niets zoals een metaal erin, er wordt gezegd dat het is gebouwd met alleen beton, wat het volledig uniek maakt van andere gebouwen in Oeganda. Daarom kan onze klant hier een bezoek van 20 minuten brengen en ook foto's maken binnen en buiten. Het is zo geweldig om te openen, vooral voor degenen die nog nooit eerder in de hindoetempel zijn geweest.
Dit is eigenlijk een voedsel- en fruitmarkt waar de meeste mensen gaan winkelen! Hier krijgen reizigers een verscheidenheid aan Oegandese lokale gerechten te zien die uit afgelegen gebieden van Oeganda worden verzameld en hier te koop worden gebracht.
Reizigers hebben tijd om foto's te maken met het standbeeld van de onafhankelijkheidsmonument en de gids zal een verhaal vertellen dat aan het monument is gehecht

This was good exercise mixed with exciting stops on the road and a super good way to mark Kampala at the same time. The guide, Kakembo Sudais, made sure we got a lot to know about the places we stopped at and the areas we came through. To his great praise it must also be said that the pace was completely perfect - not so slow that we became impatient but at the same time neither too fast so there was time to take it all into. Really a fantastic trip and you experience in hours what you alone would spend days on - if you would even find all the places on the trip.

Fantastic tour from start to finish! You get a bit of everything: incredible 360-degree views from the top of the Gaddafi National Mosque, the bustling and vibrant energy of Kisenyi and Owino Market, and a fascinating look at the Old Taxi Park. Finishing up with the colorful sights of Nakasero Market and a history lesson at the Independence Monument wrapped up the day perfectly. Highly recommend this tour if you want an authentic, safe, and deeply informative walking experience in the city!

This was a great tour of all parts of Kampala. We visited wealthy neighborhoods, shopping districts, and slums. The city's contrasts were truly striking. I especially enjoyed visiting the food market, where I bought some fruit and spices. The mosque is also a landmark. You can climb the minaret for a stunning 360-degree view. The guide was very knowledgeable and had a good understanding of the area. I highly recommend it.

Went on a guided tour together with my classmates - was lovely :) defo wouldn’t have been able to navigate the chaotic city centre without a tourguide haha. Had a tourguide about the same age as me and my classmates, she was the sweetest and Nasser was contagiously energetic and funny.

Am Nasser collected us on time and took us on a very informative and interesting trip around Kampala. We started at the mosque and then walked through different areas of town. He combined this with lots of interesting information about life in Uganda historically and in the present. We had local food and then he walked us back to the start.
