Kajaktocht in Xochimilco
Beschrijving
Deze tour is uniek omdat je het ecologische reservaat Xochimilco bezoekt om de zonsopgang te bewonderen. Een gespecialiseerde gids zal u trainen in het gebruik van de kajak en zal u begeleiden tijdens de tocht. De route is als volgt: Eerste Laguna de Teshuilo, het is het eerste punt dat u kunt bezoeken van deze lagune die door de lokale bevolking wordt erkend als de feestplaats tijdens de Goede Week. Ook naar Isla de las Muñecas, het tweede punt waar je het beroemde Isla de las Muñecas kunt zien, gecreëerd door Julián Santana. Ten slotte Canal de Apampilco, dit representatieve kanaal omdat het een van de oudste kanalen is en de traditie zegt dat er Aplantles bestonden die biodiversiteit gaven aan het Xochimilco-wetland. Tijdens de wandeling zie je de traditionele chimapa's die door de Xochimilca-beschaving zijn gemaakt voor de teelt van bloemen en groenten. Tegen een meerprijs kunt u ontbijten met lokale producten.

We bezoeken de belangrijkste kanalen van Xochimilco in het merengebied, het Apampilco-kanaal, de Teshuilo-lagune en het Apatatlaco-kanaal. We zullen het originele Eiland van de Poppen oversteken, zonder dat het weer het toelaat, zullen we de zonsopgang kunnen bewonderen. We brengen u terug naar het ontmoetingspunt.
Je zult de originele trajineras voorbij zien komen, het typische transportmiddel van het Xochimilco-meer.

Roberto was such a great guide and really showed me an in depth insight into xochimilco. If the party boat isn’t your vibe like me I highly suggest!

Our Guide Roberto was amazing, because he had profound knowledge of the area , history and economy. We booked the Canoe Tour at 10h , which was perfect, due to the fact, that hardly anyone is on the Canals and we had a calm, relaxing experience , connecting with nature and wildlife. Roberto and the Tour is highly recommended. ♡ The meeting point is also away from the crowd.

Roberto and Miriam were great guides! I was a little worried that my kayaking skills were too rusty, but it was a perfect kayaking trip with their help. This was a fantastic adventure filled with the beauty of nature.
It starts very early, it is cold and you have to wear clothes suitable for getting wet and changing clothes. If you have better waterproof shoes. Hat for the sun back.
Great tour. I attended a 10 am tour and was the only attendee, but still had two tour guides. Both were great, friendly, and well-prepared. They knew lots about the Xochimilco, its biodiversity and history, so I highly recommend you ask any questions that peaks your interest. They also encouraged taking lots of photos and helped with taking some photos of myself. The tour was around 2.5 hours and explores a large portion of the waterways in the area, including seeing local life and lots of wild animals. I highly recommend this tour as a nature getaway from the busyness of Mexico City.
