Maritieme excursie in kajak en kano in de prachtige wateren van Santa Maria di Leuca. We peddelen in dit prachtige stuk van de Ionische kust en ontdekken de meest bijzondere kenmerken, de geologische oorsprong maar ook de charme van de oude geschiedenis met een route tussen de mooiste grotten.

Met deze spannende excursie per kajak en kano verkennen we Santa Maria di Leuca en de zeegrotten. We zullen je begeleiden in dit fantastische avontuur richting het westen.
Beginnend bij de baai van Ciardo gaan we in de richting van Punta Ristola, we zullen prachtige grotten verkennen, zoals de Grotta del Drago, met zijn fantastische figuren uitgehouwen in de rots, de Grotta degli Lovers waar we ons kunnen onderdompelen in de bron van zoet water, de grot van de kathedraal met zijn prachtige druipsteenkolommen.
Ten slotte bezoeken we de beroemde Grotta delle Tre Porte, met zijn majestueuze ingangen die uitkomen op de prachtige klif met uitzicht op de zee en de mysterieuze Grotta del Diavolo.

The kayak trip brings you to some really nice caves along the coast. The trip is around 3.5km with some explanations about the caves, a 30min swim break and the return trip (again around 3.5km) without stopping. We were around 20 people for 2 guides. Sometimes the guide was too far to hear the explanations. It did take a lot of time getting all of them into the water (and out of the water again) which felt like we lost a lot of time. I would recommend to limit the group to 4 boats per guide max, to counter the downsides from having a big group. The theory explanations were clear and simple, so someone who never kayaked before could easily follow and learn the basics.

Just 2 couples in double kayaks with 2 lovely Italian guides. Gave clear instructions and excellent knowledge of the caves and surrounding area. The swim was a welcome cool off.just tricky to.get back into the kayak! All in all we'd strongly recommend the trip as you could actually paddle inside the caves that you can't do on the bigger boat trips.

We had a great time on this kayak ride. Very accessible, the instructors take the time to explain, no worries even for those who have never kayaked. The caves visited are beautiful and we were treated to a culture point on each of them. Small bonus: the possibility to swim near a cave at a time of the walk. Very good experience
This has been truly a Wonderful trip! I was with my son who is 10 years old and we have been gifted an exclusive trip , just us and the leader, who had all the time for us, understood our needs well, was very friendly, very kind and fun to spend time with. We really loved the experience, even though the weather conditions were not super smooth (waves didn't allow us to go into a cave) this didn't matter, since the overall feeling we got was super good! The logistics was organized well, the parking was comfortable, this is well thought endeavor. I loved the adventure and recommend it. If you get a chance, Go with Salento Adventure! Perfect communication. Due to bad weather forecast (a lot of wind and waves) day brought forward. No problem for us. Better play it safe. Guiseppe and Alessio are both tops.
