Spectaculaire reis naar de indrukwekkendste gletsjer ter wereld op TITLIS. Bezoek het hele jaar door ons winterwonderland. Mount Titlis is de enige publiek toegankelijke gletsjer in het gebied. Bewonder de omringende bergen en valleien en geniet van het prachtige panoramische uitzicht. De nieuwe 8-persoons gondel brengt u vanaf het dalstation in Engelberg rechtstreeks naar het station Stand. Vanaf hier gaat u met de TITLIS ROTAIR, 's werelds eerste roterende kabelbaan, naar de top.

Onze nieuwe 8-persoons kabelbaan brengt je rechtstreeks naar de gletsjerwereld op TITLIS. Stap gewoon in bij het TITLIS-dalstation in Engelberg en geniet van de comfortabele rit naar 2450 m boven zeeniveau. Vanaf daar neemt u de TITLIS Rotair, 's werelds eerste draaiende kabelbaan, naar het bergstation.
3.041 meter boven zeeniveau. 500 meter boven de grond. 150 bloedstollende stappen. Dit wacht je op de TITLIS Cliff Walk, de spectaculaire hangbrug hoog op de top. Om de brug over te steken, heb je zenuwen nodig die zo sterk zijn als de stalen kabels waaraan hij hangt. Bij aankomst op de top leidt de route je door de gletsjergrot via een ondergrondse tunnel en naar het uitkijkplatform bij het raam op de zuidmuur. Van hier strekt de hangbrug zich uit tot aan het ijsbaanstation van de gletsjerstoeltjeslift Ice Flyer. De TITLIS Cliff Walk is slechts een meter breed en meer dan 100 meter lang. Het uitzicht op de afgrond beneden is adembenemend! De TITLIS Cliff Walk heeft het record als hoogste hangbrug van Europa.
Zorg ervoor dat je je ogen neerslaat op de indrukwekkende gletsjerwereld beneden. De Ice Flyer stoeltjeslift brengt je soepel en veilig over frisse, maagdelijke sneeuwvelden en ijzige diepten. Sommige spleten zijn tot twintig meter diep. Alleen hier op TITLIS kun je zo'n fantastische gletsjerervaring verwachten.
Deze gletsjergrot vormt het ijzige hart van TITLIS. Het ijs is hier tot 5000 jaar oud. De 150 meter lange loopbrug van de grot daalt tien meter onder het oppervlak van de gletsjer af. Het verkennen van de gletsjergrot is een coole ervaring. De temperatuur in de grot blijft een ijzige -1,5˚C.

- Draag dichte schoenen, aangezien u door de sneeuw gaat wandelen

We took a day trip to Titlis, as the impressive Titlis Tower is now open. Impressive facility at 3000 meters above sea level! We were at the summit early in the morning, which was definitely worth it. There is so much to do in this area that a day trip is not enough. Next time, I will take an extended weekend. In winter, this is a great ski area, and in summer, a hiking area. Ambiance: wonderful Price / performance: not cheap, but worth it Highly recommended: absolutely
Family visit in May. That day we went up to snowed. The logistics is easy and very organized. We recommend full clothes from cold, as la on top is very cold (below zero). It has a restaurant with very good prices. Worth a visit completw

I recommend not booking this excursion.As the operator is not honest or transparent. We were in touch the day before and a few times the morning of the excursion. Once I arrived at Mount Titlis, i was informed that the Ice Flyer Chair Lift and the suspension bridge were both closed but the operator never informed me of this , even after multiple communications. I then requested a partial, 40% refund , because half of the excursions included in the package , I was unable to participate in. They denied a partial refund. This is a horrible dishonest operator so I would stay away.It is not worth the money. It is a waste of money.
Lovely ski hut and mountain station with great food. Outstanding customer service: the friendly staff not only made the restaurant experience great, but also went above and beyond by quickly locating forgotten personal items and sending them to my home free of charge.
From Lucerne it is necessary to take a train to Engelbert for about 45 minutes and then 5 minutes walk for 30 minutes of cable car uphill and disappointment because there are works in progress and not much to do except the bridge. Of course nothing is indicated and the prices are the same! Reach completion in February.
Glad we decided to head up despite the fact we didn't ski. Headed up on the cable car and the views were incredible. There is a tubing area and restaurants. We recommend heading up to the peak. There is a cafeteria style restaurant, afull service option and a snack/gift shop. The ice cave was entertaining. Obviously appropriate dress is necessary. But also make sure to wear appropriate shoes. The surface is icy and people were slipping and sliding every where. The Ice flyer and suspension bridge was fun as well
Mount Titlis — very disappointing experience. Definitely not worth the time or money. Once you reach the top, there is very little to do — the entire walk takes no more than 15–20 minutes. The worst part is the waiting time: around one hour just to go up and another hour to come back down. What makes this even more frustrating is that no one warns you in advance about these massive queues — not during ticket purchase and not on site. Spending two hours standing in lines for such a short and underwhelming experience feels completely unreasonable. Overall, the place is overcrowded and poorly managed for the number of visitors. I would not recommend this experience.
Booking with Viator is so easy and convenient and I would highly recommend to visit Mt Titlis, Switzerland
Overall it was a nice experience. Scanning the voucher barcode at the machine at Titlis did not work, however, and we had to queue at the ticket office to exchange the voucher for tickets.
