Gericht op meer comfort voor de gasten, tours omvatten kleine groepservaringen (maximaal 30 gasten) en opgewaardeerde accommodatie naar standaard hotelkamers in K'gari Beach Resort. PLUS ontdek verborgen pareltjes zoals Hammertone Sandblow, Lake Wabby en de Champagne Pools.

- Uw accommodatie vereist een pre-autorisatie op uw creditcard van AUD 100 per dag plus een restitueerbare borg van AUD 200 voor een maximum van AUD 500. In het geval dat geen creditcard beschikbaar is, is volledige betaling en een aanbetaling van AU $ 100 per dag tot een maximum van AU $ 500 vereist.
- Aanbevolen voor gasten om hun eigen naar voren gerichte kinderzitjes mee te nemen. Een beperkt aantal kinderzitjes is op aanvraag beschikbaar tegen een meerprijs.
- Houd er rekening mee dat we geen kinderen onder de 1 jaar vervoeren en dat er geen restitutie wordt gegeven.
- Houd er rekening mee dat de wet van Queensland vereist dat alle gasten die met onze touringcars reizen te allen tijde veiligheidsgordels moeten dragen. Als u dit niet doet, kan dit resulteren in een boete van de overheid van Queensland.
- Deze tour heeft aparte vertreklocaties, afhankelijk van of je in Hervey Bay of Rainbow Beach verblijft. Zorg ervoor dat u de juiste vertreklocatie boekt. It was an fantastic experience!! The guide was Taylah and she did a great job. She told us everything about K’Gari and was the nicest guide we’ve met in Australië! She was a good driver and we saw a lot! She did also extra: we swim in a creek and make a fligt. It was the highlight of our holiday!!!

We had a wonderful two day tour with our guide Jean who was generous in his hospitality and sharing his knowledge of K’gari. We never felt rushed and there was always something interesting to learn about. The buses were clean and modern and the food was delicious - better than I’ve experienced on other tours elsewhere in QLD. Spectacular weather made it a truly memorable experience with our teenage children.

A great experience on the world's largest sand island. Arriving by barge you'll be met by your driver and guide. We had John, a very good driver and good commentary. First stop at Lake McKenzie for swimming and morning tea. Then to Central Station for the magnificent stands of trees and a walk along Wanggoolba Creek. Lunch at K'gari Resort then a bush walk to Lake Wabby and back to the resort for a delicious dinner, a restful night and that's day 1. James, the restaurant supervisor, went out of his way for us. Day 2 up to Champagne Pools and morning tea, Indian Head, Red Canyon, The Pinnacles, SS Maheno shipwreck then Eli Creek and lunch. Back to the resort for a cuppa then back to Kingfisher Bay Resort to return to the mainland. The roads are rough but fun. All staff are friendly and helpful. Our group was small which made the experience more personal and John, our driver, was very accommodating. At the time we went, the whales gave us a brilliant show all day. Dingo's, a sea snake, sea eagles, kytes and beautiful rainforest birds. Just do it!

Taylah was our guide, and we couldn't be happier. She was so competent driving the bus and very knowledgeable about K'Gari. The Illumina light show was a highlight. Would definitely recommend to everyone especially young people, as there was so much yo do and see.

This was a wonderful experience. Well organised, comfortable and clean accommodation and great food. Breakfast, morning tea and lunch provided in the tour cost and dinner prices were standard costs and not excessive considering they are on an island. Our tour guide, Taylah was knowledgeable and pleasant and a great bus driver. The bus was comfortable with an up front screen to watch the road ahead as the seat backs were high and vision was restricted especially for short people such as myself. We had a varied age group of 14 people and everyone got along well. If you want to see K'gar and you can't drive it yourself this tour is a great option and being 2 days we had time at each spot without any rush to move on.

Had such a great 2 days. Was easy to get to the tour bus, everything was very organised, saw incredible spots around the island. Special mention to our guide Taylah, who made the trip even more enjoyable and interesting (and to the mechanic graham for retrieving our lost airpods). The resort was great, nice staff and good food. Would definitely recommend this trip!!

Took the two day tour from Rainbow Beach. Both tour guides Dean and Peter were very friendly and funny, we got a lot of facts and knowledge from them. The bus was comfortable and convenient for travelling the island and accommodation and food was amazing. Got to see all the highlights with plenty of time to swim and the option for a plane tour. The group was small but allowed everyone to get to know each other. It was the highlight of our travels would definitely do it again.

Great had a great time. Only 17 of us on the bus. Saw all the sights. Enjoyed all the sights, Enjoyed the food. Deans commentary was engaging, he was happy to answer anyone's questions. Husband really enjoyed it as well. Only real bummer was dragging our suitcases up the muddy, wet unkempt stairs at the K'gari and I felt that we could have spent less time at central station and a teeny bit longer at Lake McKenzie but honestly the experience was a positive one and I would do it again. They even sent my sunglasses back on the ferry! All in all a helpful and friendly team. Special shout out to the young Northern English lad driving the train being extra helpful because we are from regional Australia and didn't have a clue what we were doing and he was very reassuring in delivering the facts of what was happening (worrying about bags and where to locate ourselves). Fantastic, safest and most convenient way to see K'gari when you own a Suzuki Swift. Brilliant! Thank you for the experience ❤️👍🌿🌊
